BvS leaks left and right and we're still stuck with various sources fueling the "tats/no tats" debate.

If this is a joke, it's a good one. Cruel, but good.

They fuel it because they know they get hits for their sites.

It's known that it's been a mixed reaction to the Joker pic so what better way to drum up attention than talking about supposed "anonymous" sources that say they're a prank or an anniversary celebration or whatever else they start pulling out.

I just really, really want them to scrub off the two ****** little tats on his face. Not too much to ask, right?

How is posting a picture on Twitter making it official though? I don't recall any other superhero movie unveiling huge characters through Twitter like that.. they've usually always been revealed in magazines, trailers, press releases, or through marketing campaigns. Like I said if it was official (regardless of it being on Twitter) David Ayer or Leto would have just confirmed it already.. plus the words "cryptic" & "the joke's on you" have been overlooked a lot.

Snyder first showed the new Batmobile, and the new Batsuit, on Twitter.

Aesthetics are a given, obviously. But I think you might be surprised how different these movies will feel. Snyder is a busy guy, and even so I don't think it would be in WB's best interest to make all there movies look so similar. I highly doubt there was a memo either detailing cinematic requirements, because it's unnecessary. People are going to know these movies are connected, there is no point in making Suicide Squad aesthetically similar to BvS because it won't matter. Suicide Squad is Ayer's movie, not Snyder, and it will be it's own thing.

Here's an interesting link I pulled from the general BvS thread:
http://www.flickeringmyth.com/2015/05/in-defense-filmmaker-driven-dc-cinematic-universe.html

So in a large sense I think you're right; DC is definitely allowing a lot more creative freedom and a wider berth. On the other hand, Snyder is a producer for SS, though this may only really apply to post-production. I really don't know and I'll try to be man enough not to pretend I do.

This is when I make one of those predictions that everyone should bookmark so that when the moment of truth arrives, they may either bow to my greatness or laugh at me for a year:

By August 2016, the general consensus will be that DC does better solo movies and Marvel does better ensemble movies (SS will be considered a solo movie since all its main characters are newly introduced).

this is a pretty bold prediction. Its no secret that i love both companies and hope a wish the best of both of them. DC has had a footing with MoS, I love the movie but i know it has its issues. I love that WB is doing the film slate that theyre doing. But i do have my resevations. I hope they keep it together and make no flops, but i do not think that everyone will love every movie DC puts out. While i think SS will be good, fun, and progressive; I dont think it'll be unanimous that after SS, WB will be crowned as the king of cbms.

Suicide Squad is an ensemble movie. It's about a group of people, it's not about just one guy. If it was then they should have called it the Suicide Man. Just like how Inception is an ensemble movie. Inception is about a group of people invading people's dreams.

There's apparently(According to the girl that cleared up the paintball man stuff..so who knows?) going to be some more outdoor filming happening on sunday.
Leto went back out on tour today for about a week though. :csad:

I love the teeth.

yep. may 3, 7 pm to 6 am. filming at york and university area filming an action scene.. i'll be there..

I'm pretty sure Codex Tesseract means DC will be better at individual franchises while Marvel excels at crossover events. I could be wrong though. Definitely a bold prediction.

Yes, thank you. What words you technically assign to it is pedantic technicality.

EDIT: Actually, no it's not, since "Ensemble" is a term already commonly used in film and has a definite meaning. "Crash" and "Traffic" are ensemble films despite obviously not being crossovers.

So yes, to clarify: By September 2016, the general consensus will be that DC is better at individual franchises and Marvel is better at crossover films.

The tats feel like a focus group thing honestly. Everything else about the look is perfect.

Thanks for clearing that up.

But now that I already typed it, I want to see a movie called Suicide Man.:o

(And if anyone replies with "Umm... the Crow didn't commit suicide he was murdered" I swear to God...)

^
The crow is the first thing that came to mind when I read that. :funny:

But dude, The Crow didn't commit suicide, he was murdered.

It really does.

All that's missing is us getting a call from a WB customer service rep asking us to complete a brief survey :funny:.
