BvS Jason Momoa is Aquaman! - Part 3

I wonder why they would release the WW casting info, but then not want to release AM casting officially. I'm starting to wonder if Momoa is really going to be in this role.

Maybe they haven't released the info because Momoa is going to be in Justice League but is only doing an after the credits cameo in BvS.

If it is indeed Mamoa, casting Drogo himself should help those who don't take the character seriously take a second look.

The second half of the equation, is having him hack of his own goddamn hand, like in the Justice League animated series. Show the audience who they're dealing with.

Leave the hand stuff for the future. If Jason IS Aquaman I'm hoping for short hair and clean shaven look with a suit that evokes the classic costume, or short hair and the beard. Give him the trident and present him as a king who is a man of action. Costume changes, the long haired gladiator look and the single hand stuff can wait for later.

Honestly? I think he looks better with a beard. He's a handsome bloke, but facial hair makes his look even more, if you know what I mean?

It's like Liam Neeson, I think his face suits facial hair as well when he was Qui Gon and Ra's, as opposed to being shaved.

I'm still wondering why this casting hasn't be announced. Why is it so secret?

Are the Atlanteans meant be a secret for the film?

I don't know what that photo of Gal represents, but it seems she's getting ready to do battle in a place where it looks nothing like a city. Looks like rocks and fire spitting out everywhere. Could there be some sort of flashback to Themyscira?

Momoa could still be Aquaman, probably is. But I'm wondering if he's playing Ares? Or even Darkseid because the matter is so secret. But still, it's just early days.WB may want to keep the secrecy and anticipation going for as long as they can span for the next 2 years.

I hate beards, but I have to agree here. While he's handsome clean shaven a well-styled beard does so much more for him.

Part if me is wondering if it's another Dwayne Johnson situation. A good amount of people were convinced he was being looked at for Jon Stewart/Green Lantern, but this past week we learn it's actually for Shazam or Black Adam.
Maybe Mamoa as Aquaman is his version of the GL rumor, and he's actually Ares/Darkseid/etc.

Not necessarily. He may be under a legally binding non-disclosure agreement not to talk about it either way. Whether he either confirms or denies, he could get fired and even sued. Him not talking proves nothing.

Aquaman's role has to be like the Miranda Tate/Talia al Ghul deal.

I just can't understand all the tiptoeing around they're doing. We know about Cyborg, who's a founding member of the JL, so why not Arthur?
And I'm positive Wonder Woman's pic is from a scene in the film. I can see Momoa playing either Aquaman, Ares or Darkseid. I'm rather interested in Ares and Darkseid joining up tbh, two Gods from two different galaxies.
Come to think of it. Mcnairy looks like that sculpture of Ares on the Wikipedia page...and he said he's working out at the gym for the role

The purpose of the agreement is so fans can't rule out Aquaman for sure and then begin speculation on another character. It keeps us in the dark for a while.

We pretty much know what GL and Flash will look like, but there's so many ways they could portray AM.

It's like with SM, we knew what he would look like. Yeah, they removed the red trunks in MOS and played with the suit's texture, but it's still def SM.

Meanwhile, WW could've ranged from anything like the 300 warrior costumes to the more modern JMS leather jacket look, or anything in between.

Aquaman is up in the air, too. Lots of ways he might be rendered.

But I don't see them straying very far from the GL and a Flash suits we're used to.

But I could be wrong. Happens!

With what they did with Wonder Woman, I think they can make just about anything work. Especially The Flash and Green Lantern.
