I honestly don't think that there is an outside chance of him playing another character. I have no doubt he is playing Aquaman.

we have zero clue about who's playing flash and GL so that should be enough for surprises imo. they should've just announced momoa at comic con because we all knew for months.

I'm starting to doubt we're even going to get GL and Flash in the first JL film. They technically already have their starting five already. With GL being a stain on DC's image and Flash not really providing that much variety in the powers department, WB can afford to omit those two for now.

I wouldn't be surprised if they're instead going to push Wonder Woman, Cyborg, and Aquaman into the forefront.

Don't worry, one of the weapons that batman will use on superman will disintegrate his clothes. Batman will do this on the theory that Kryptonians need their clothes to fly.
