This is a much worse kept secret than Wonder Woman being in this movie was haha.
this kind of thing i pretty ridiculous , if the rumour is false the trades will lost all their credibilities and worse the other midias with confirm that either, but i am tired of this Aquaman - momoa rumour , this carachter is my favorite and there s no respect with him.
He did say he was offended to be in the same sentence with AM in more less words. I think he's just red hairing us but it is kind of disrespectful especially if you are actually playing the character!
I'm trying to reckon the point behind WB waiting to formally announce Momoa in the role.
At first it seemed that they were waiting for SD Comic Con 2014, but that came and went with no formal mention of Aquaman plans whatsoever.
This week news came of the duelling Aquaman scripts, but still no mention re. the casting.
We've even seen photographic evidence that Momoa is physically training in the same facilities as Gadot, and yet nothing.
The primary theory I keep falling back on is that beyond WB wanting to have ultimate control over the DC universe announcements (an understandable thing), Mamoa really has not been cast as Aquaman, but as some other character, and WB aren't sure how to manage the fan disapointment and mend the relationships with the trades who have been reporting the casting as all but fact for over a month.
I really hope Momoa is indeed our new Aquaman as I think he would be incredible in the role (anyone who doubts his charisma/presence on screen needs to obtain a copy of the television series 'The Red Road' where his work is stellar). He exudes charm and menace simultaneously in The Red Road and if he combines that more grounded character with that of Drogo from GOT he could portray an Atlantean King with ease).
lol if he isn't Aquaman I highly doubt WB is worried about apologizing to the trades because they reported false information
WB is the biggest studio around, and the trades will have to deal with them regardless, but I'm sure the marketing department would like to maintain cordial relationships, most especially Variety and the Hollywood Reporter whom everyone else is citing as a source. It's fine if Cosmic Book News messes up, everyone expects it, but Variety has a reputation at stake and wouldn't appreciate being made fools of either.
i know that, but i hate when studios and actors doing things like that, if its not true tell and end of history, if is true tell is true and tell you canot talk about this and it take a hype for the next step.
Variety sited HitFix which said WB hasn't made the announcement official but that he could confirm. THR said WB refused to to comment.
Which means none of them talked to WB and WB said ya its true, so if it's wrong the sites aren't going to be pissy at WB. They have no one to blame but themselves.

I still think he's going to be Doomsday. And if he is, it would make sense given the recent plot rumors.
He did just not those exact words. He said how annoying it was for him to be connected to this superhero particularly.I've still yet to find Momoa saying that he was offended to be in the same sentence with Aquaman or even suggest it. Anyone have a link?
I know it most likely is a "wink wink" "nudge nudge" but in the mean time he is perpetuating the image that AM is "lame."And on top of that, if he did, I'm sure it was a joke.
