I've been thinking the JL movie might be about the Atlantis/Themysica war. You could always throw in the whole Poseidon/Athena rivalry as to why.

Im betting Atlantis to team up with Themycira against Humans

Really I could see why Snyder would go that route if he does. Aquaman is by far the most mocked superhero there is, so going the warlord route would be an effort to make him cooler to the general audience.

I'm personally more fond of the Tarzan of the seas approach for Aquaman.

Even though numerous reports have indicated that Jason Momoa has been cast as Aquaman in Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice, the actor is still refusing to admit that he will be playing the part. At this past weekend’s Evolution Expo, Points of Geek captured Momoa’s response to possibly playing Aquaman on video. Here’s what Momoa said.

I think it would be really, really fun to play a superhero. You know? I’ve always talked about, like, what’s your favorite. I mean I love Lobo so… but ah… You know. It would be awesome. I don’t know how they do it but… Yea, absolutely I think it would…I just don’t really see myself as a superhero. Yeah, no I mean, they’re kind of written a little different. I don’t know. As unlikely as it is to happen, I would find it all kinds of hilarious if the first official word we got about Momoa as AM is that he isn't playing Aquaman.

I found an older picture I drew of my own take on Aquaman. I thought I'd post it here for a take on what he could wear.

This is what I'd imagine Aquaman to look like
I'm not very good at drawing bodies so I printed the body outline and added everything else (incl. hair). He kinda resembles Josh Holloway more than Momoa

It's a very basic design, I wouldn't over exaggerate his look. Have his legs and arms (up to his elbows) be covered with darkish green scales. His upper body/torso would be human. This way we'd have his classic green/orange(skin colored) appearance. I forgot to draw gills though.

Of course he would have to wear gloves to conceal his scaly hands and webbed fingers while visiting Metropolis/the shore for whatever reason, hiding his true identity.

I'm sorry, both those designs are awful.

Stick with the comic look, it begs to be adapted.

I'm afraid that the addition of short, light hair makes him look more like R-Patz than AquaMoa, but I'm sure someone else can do better.

That pretty much is the 90s version of Aquaman. Maybe he will have some of the Flashpoint version of Aquaman too.

It's pretty silly how many people are reporting this as confirmation that Aquaman will be an anti-hero in BvS. He's very obviously talking about himself in real life.

It's kind of cute that he feels he's too much like an anti-hero to play a full on good guy.

the news is so lacking on this movie that people are hearing news where there isn't any...kind of like when the DP of this movie took a picture of a playing card and everyone assumed Joker was going to be in it.
