My point was that I wonder if somehow one personality was aware of the other, in this case I wonder if Phoenix was somehow aware of the deeply buried "something" that Jean felt for Logan, and acted on that and amplified it, or if Phoenix just straight up acted on her lust. Speaking for myself, I cannot separate the two, and I believe that Phoenix somehow picked up on those feelings Jean had and acted on them. Those are thoughts and feelings Jean would bury deep inside and never act on or even consider as a possibility to expand on, but Phoenix, being uncontrolled and uninhibited would have no problem expressing those desires.
