People must not remember TDK-TDKR days (talking about Dano/Riddler).
If you showed this to me and told me he was a prestige TV character actor, I would believe you.
Pacino is incredibly subtle and measured in his earlier performances, such as Michael Corleone in The Godfather and Part II. I mean the studio wanted Coppola to fire him because they thought he was too quiet and subtle.
Same thing with Pacino. I’m well aware of his early work. But the majority of Pacino’s career has been about larger than life performances. It’s what he’s known for.
Why does this look right somehow haha?
You don’t become the biggest movie star in the world by being a bad actor.
