Indeed. I don't see this passing unnoticed. We learned about Yung, Kurylenko and Gadot, even before the role was known and we also learned about Malone, even though it was really kept under the wraps. Among actresses auditioning for the role of Catwoman there would be some much bigger names than those mentioned above, and I don't see how we wouldn't hear anything at all.

None of the trades had that story. John-An picked that news up from some obscure Spanish website. She was also filming Sicario at the time.

Yeah, I'm not believing it necessarily but like the Malone thing where most thought she was just set visiting, I wouldn't put it past Snyder to have some major surprises up his sleeve.

The only hint I remember is that he said he would never be Aquaman and what would be next, robin? he said he didn't suit that character, and if a role suited for him it was Lobo. Then he said that some fella made the rumor basing it on his opinion of BvS confrontation or something like that. Also the thing with the reporter, which have to fullfill (to be hit in the face)

If it wasn't for the trade sites, we wouldn't have known that EVER! before the movie's release.

Emily Blunt is a much bigger name than the girl playing Katana. She would've been spotted coming into Detroit airport from 10 miles off the airport by papps. And Oh I never said she wouldn't be good that's another debate. I was debating in the validity of that crappy source.

I remember him posting pics of him with Aquaman comics...that sold it for me. I knew then that he was Aquaman

Thematically , it actually makes more sense that she's playing Barbara/Oracle rather than Carrie Kelly. With the illusions to the Joker killing Robin, and the focus on how Batman has become by BvS, it makes more sense that Barbara would be another character that was also hurt during the Joker's last spree.

Introducing a new Robin like Carrie Kelly would seem a bit of a distraction from the fact that he's lost the other Robin whom the audience hasn't seen. This way, you focus on Bruce's sense of loss for Robin without trying to explain there's this new Robin who the audience doesn't know but we also have to care about the other Robin we haven't been exposed to .
