I think you might be confusing Hawkeye with Bullseye. Hawkeye is a master marksman, sure, with ranged weapons; but Bullseye can more or less weaponize *anything* into a lethal throwing weapon. Using a paper airplane as a weapon is Bullseye's schtick, not Hawkeye's.
Actually I registered to address the claim that I was peddling my nonexistant archery company.Did the guy who wrote that article really register here just to whine about people not taking his article seriously?
Ithe internet
His form is really good. His form is so bad it takes the realism out of the video
His form is really good.
next timeIn his case, he should be shooting it to his left, because the arrow is going to strike further to the right due to the sideways bow. Instead, he's shooting further to the right. What way should someone shoot a grappling hook arrow while falling off a building? It is an entirely impossible act. How one can critique the form involved is a bit mindboggling
That's true. I generally don't recognize sarcasm in print. It's one of my many defects. And you don't understand sarcasm. I'll be sure to add thisnext time
Here's what I'm talking about. This is a page from a how to draw book, showing lines of action:
http://i56.tinypic.com/293a9ns.jpg
The first drawing looks weak and awkward. The second is more powerful and effective because of the strong lines of action.
Renner's shooting looks like the first drawing. If he had learned even rudimentary archery, his shooting would look like the second drawing.
It's not about whether it's realistic, it';s whether it looks as good as it ought to. The video posted above makes the case as well. Compare Hawkeye to that trick-shooter. Who looks more awesome? Hawkeye's costume and attitude look badass, but his shooting looks weak.

Plus, Hawkeye is usually against murder. Though, I guess it's acceptable for invading aliens.![]()
During a war killing the enemy is not murder.
And note that the MCU films so far have never even touched the old idea of "superheroes never kill ever."
Has the Hulk ever killed in TIH?Iron Man shot five terrorists in their stupid faces his first time wearing the armor. I think that set the precedent.

I mean, of course many soldiers were seriously injured but I can't recall any deaths.
The Hulk might be the only MCU hero so far who is above killing.
There was one soldier in the Brazlian factory who I can only think would have been torn in half when he got sandwhiched [and then pulled along] between machinery and the huge water/boiler tank that Hulk was pushing.
I can think of the Gulmira 'revenge' scene also. IM definately killed those guys.

We don't know what happened to the thugs who beat up Banner except for the one who ran away.
Same scene![]()
well, the guy who was shot in the face (by himself) in the escape scene? darwin award winner!Sorry, when you said the 1st time wearing the armour, I assumed you meant his escape.
