Jesse Ventura: The Official Thread

I'm not so sure he would make it a circus act. I think people would be quick to try and dismiss him though.

I have never seen him perform well in a debate. That includes on a TV setting. He was awful on Hannity a while ago.

It sure seems easy to make him lose his temper though. Look at Jim Norton and John Cena. :p

It's been a while since I've seen him in a debate. He definitely speaks his mind in tv appearances.

I think he's ruining his credibility lately with this show he's doing. Conspiracy Theory.

:thing: :doom: :thing:

The man is absolutely brilliant but I don't think that show helps his cause either.

Yes, because all conspiracy theories are crazy, even though more and more of them are being proven to be true.

Heck, a friend of mine was arguing that HAARP "doesnt exist", and then when Ventura went to the station and they showed it on tv the argument immediately changed to "of course it exists, but nothing bad happens there"

I'm not saying that all conspiracy theories are are, I'm saying that it makes it easier for people to dismiss him as some tinfoil hat wearing nut. (When it couldn't be further from the truth.)

The Building 7 B.S. unfortunately show's him as a tin foil hat wearing nut. Which is a damn shame because I used to think the guy was pretty cool, till I heard he believes in the whole "controlled demolition" deal on Stern one morning. Destroyed any hope of the guy running a third party I would actually vote for with him at the top of the card, now I want the guy miles away from any high office.
