With Get Out breaking out, Logan being huge and the Disney propaganda machine this film is in an undeserved bad spot.
Man looking at the image of that figure, I was REALLY hoping Neca would've gotten the license for the film. I would love a Kong figure and a Skull Crawler figure as well. An interesting thing about the Skull Crawlers btw, is after picking up the new version of the original KK on blu, their design is an homage to the two-legged lizard from the original. It had been so long since I had watched it that I didn't even realize that.
People ignorantly believing because BATB is a Disney film it's automatically good. What propaganda? If you're talking about Le Fou? Who always had a subtle gay vibe in the toon that sorta plays for laughs? In the film, it's probably as noticeable as Smither's being in love with Mr. Burns. It's not like he's making out with Gaston for 20 minutes.
Some interesting new shots.
It's the music I didn't like.Thats one of the most obnoxious trailers Ive had the misfortune of watching. Jeeze.

From everything I've been seeing and hearing, this is gonna be a fun monster flick.
I can't believe believe that this time tomorrow I will be watching Kong: Skull Island. It seems surreal...

What will be really surreal is in a couple of years when it starts paying on FX or TNT or something. It is so strange when the movies I follow and hype for a long time.e wind their way down to basic cable. I'm somewhat caught off guard when something like The Dark Knight shows up on AMC, spread out over 3 and half hour s and cut up for commercial breaks.

Very weird for me as well. Seeing these movies on TV is not appropriate, imo. Films like TDK and TDKR feel.... smaller in scale and significance when being shown on TV. And when I think of the hype I had for both...
I honestly can't wait for WB to release Kong: Skull Island on UHD 4K Blu-ray so I can watch it with beautiful HDR on my 65" Samsung 8000 series![]()
Guess what? Kids these days watch movies on their smart phones.
