I agree that CinemaSins sucks (I've honestly never made it through an entire video of theirs), but whenever filmmakers lash out at critics of their work it just makes them look petty and childish, imo. I think Vogt-Roberts did a good job on this flick, but he would've been better off leaving well enough alone.

I thought he did the right thing addressing them by pointing out the absolute absurdity of the channel in what they do from video to video. Everything Vogt-Roberts said are reasons as to why I haven't ever bothered watching any of their videos. They're all 100% asinine.

At first I thought "Damn, this guy is hella salty" but that actually got a few chuckles out of me .

Finally getting around to see this and I really enjoy it. It's a good popcorn flick with decent story. Those night scenes though...lol the cgi was very evident

Here's an unused creature design for Kong. There was a whole sequence written for this creepy guy from an early draft.

Dang, I would have loved to see this one. Could have been a creepy addition to the sprawling MonsterVerse like those big a$$ Spiders in this movie.

Finally got a chance to watch this. Loved it! It didn't deserve to be so arty but it was amazing!

Well it's a monster flick. You could just have a group of people beating up a giant monster and get away with it.

But the cinematography in this was so breathtakingly beautiful. You could print it out and put it on your walls and it would look amazing.

Plus I just love the cast and I'm excited to know more about monarch

I just watched this for the second time and didn't like it. It was very boring. I didn't like the story/characters and the creature design was very bland compared to the 2005 remake. The island could have been much better. I'm a huge fan of the previous King Kong movies. I even like the 1976 version.
