I've been re-reading some of the old 'War of Kings' crossover issues and got to Ronan's [BLACKOUT]wedding day[/BLACKOUT]. Oh man...

[BLACKOUT]Shi'ar Imperial Guard[/BLACKOUT] whooped him so bad he was in hospital, lol.

*blackout tags for those that have yet to read it.* (I'm considerate, even when the storyline is like 5 years old)

To be fair, the Shi'ar Imperial Guard are like their Avengers. They are proper heavy weights. Gladiator for instance punches planets into dust and is faster than light. He's up there with the Silver Surfer. Ronan losing to them doesn't mean he's weak.

Ronan looks awesome. I didn't expect him to look so much like the comics. Very cool.

Ronan looks spot on! Loving his look, him and Drax are my most anticipated characters for this, huge fan of both.

His hammer looks perfect in the other pic as well!

I love Ronan's look. He is been one of my favourites villains ever since I first read about him in a small appearance in a what if of Operation Galactic Storm

Yea Glads is one of my favourites. He's like pre Crisis Superman... with a personality. Problem with someone that powerful is they always get jobbed out.

I do love me some Gladiator. He was great throughout WoK. Just shame we never got to see him and Blackout truly duke it out as that would be an interesting moment.

He is great in The Annihilators as well, and though he has similar powers to Superman, he doesnt have his morals, at all, especially when it comes to killing people. LOVED the moment in WoK when he switches sides to Lylandra and takes that guy out with his eye beams.
