It has to be visible...it's one of the most recognizable things about Godzilla.

They tried a vague fiery breath in the last take. I say, go for full "atomic" breath in the remake, though I doubt it'll be called that by anyone.

Agreed. This is going to be one of the biggest film events in a long time, its time for the mean green machine to emerge from the depths and create box office history once again.

Disagree with that, if LOTR can't get a subform, I don't know if this needs one too. The biggest film event in the next few years to me seems clear to me it will be Episode VII especially BO wise. No doubt this will be big, but I wonder how big. But I'm never against sub forums, I just wonder if this could really get one. I hope Pacific Rim does really well BO wise so they will push this even harder with marketing.

But no doubt regardless this film is shaping up nice.

Of course we all know the biggest most anticipated film in the next few years is the new Star Wars. Technically Godzilla doesn't fit the "comic book movie" genre anyways, though neither does Star Wars even if they made comic books about it after the films.

I think a hypothetical Hobbit Subforum would have quite a bit more activity than the Trek forum that we have and at times the misc movies forum is chock full of multiple Bond threads. We actually did have a Bond forum at one point...

However with Godzilla in 2014 I think WB hopefully will do well between that and Interstellar. Those two could be their big hits.

Ya Star Wars will be bigger, but Disney is going to own 2015 with Avengers, Star Wars and the new Pirates.

However with Godzilla in 2014 I think WB hopefully will do well between that and Interstellar. Those two could be their big hits.

WB will have Justice League, Warcraft, and whatever else to battle Disney's 2015 movies. Should be the geekiest year yet.
