Elizabeth is quite awesome and lovely indeed.

That trailer was great, more footage than I was expecting. Other than Hobbit part 3 probably my most anticipated movie next year.

Was this show in 3D?

From a few of my co-workers that saw TDOS in IMAX 3D, this trailer was the only one that played.

Gareth Edwards on Godzilla as an anti-hero.
"Godzilla is definitely a representation of the wrath of nature. The theme is man versus nature and Godzilla is certainly the nature side of it. You can’t win that fight. Nature’s always going to win and that’s what the subtext of our movie is about. He’s the punishment we deserve."

I just hope they don't get too "political" with that theme of man vs nature and try to turn this into some kind of global warming/climate change propaganda.

Just went to see the TDOS, and outside of its theater on the wall, they had the GODZILLA 2014 poster up, it's the latest one with the Halo Jump and all. And I was grinning like mad from ear to ear XD I like "I gotta steal that poster" lmao

They played the Godzilla trailer. The audience not only cheered when the trailer started showing the Warner Bros and LP's logo, but they applauded when it finished!

From the genesis of storytelling, there's always been subtext. It's not a modern invention.

Of course there is always bad storytelling and good storytelling. The original 'Gojira' was - in your words - preachy. But it's a good film.

Just verified that it works on the PS3. Couldn't get it to open in Quicktime on my Mac, but it works in the VLC player.
