I wouldn't go that far. This is an all new continuity. Unrelated to any other films. But that's me.

The way I see it, of the four continuities in the franchise they all feature that first film as a canon installment, even if they ignore everything else. Seems to me that what we've got here is the same only [blackout] Godzilla was nukes by the Americans and the Soviets pointblank before he could go on his original rampage.[/blackout]

So it's almost like an alternate timeline to the Toho series.

Yeah, alternate timeline, better way to look at it.

Ya know what sucks? There's no large scale Mutos toys planned. :(

So far all we have is the chibi toys, and the smaller Destruction Pack toys, which are like 3 inches. God I hope that changes. It would suck to get a bunch of Godzilla action figures and no Mutos to pair him with.

I'm starting to think that "leaked" script is BS because it doesn't match up with Toho's synopsis of the film(regarding the other creatures created by man). Also, the person who apparently "leaked" this script also leaked the script for Iron Man 3 before its release and it turned out to be BS.

Actually the leaker did say that...

[BLACKOUT]The Mutos escape from a lab. I tried to get clarification on this, but couldn't. My theory is that the eggs are taken from the Jira found in the ice, and brought back to life in a lab.[/BLACKOUT]

Ok let's face it does anyone even care if Godzilla's feet are scientifically correct anyways? I mean we're dealing with Godzilla here, he is the boss he doesn't need to be scientifically correct.

Doing what Godzilla does best! His motivation or lack thereof. ;)

I couldn't resist.........I read the "leaked" script details.

wonder how accurate those details are.........

I read them too, I just hope I didn't spoil the whole thing for myself I did want to be somewhat surprised by the film.

I've actually bet myself that a Muto leak will occur between now March.
