Lethal Weapon Reboot Series in the Works at WBTV and FOX

He's not a millennial.

So Wayans was the only one who hated working with Crawford?
Maybe the only one to hate working with him but others clearly disliked the attitude and the environment Crawford created.

Crawford seems a little too passionate and that spilled over into his outbursts. Verbal abuse isn't ok.

Waynes does deserve to work in a safe environment and any issues he has with saftey should be addressed by the higher ups. Waynes also needs to man up though and act like a professional. Walking off set when your a lead actor with an entire crew dependent on you doing your work so they can do theirs is self centered move

No duh. Was making fun of his typical-millennial-coffee-house-jockey-*****e haircut.

But yeah, if that report's accurate then Crawford definitely has anger issues. Flipping out about background noise, a couple of kids playing in a pool? That's pretty lame.

And the "you p*ssy!" stuff at Wayans over the previous day's stunt, c'mon man. Even if Wayans was being unreasonable, you don't keep it all going any more than it needs to.

Kind of sounds like Crawford being a d*ck was moreso at directors/DPs and Wayans himself, but the crew liked him. *Shrugs* Neither of the guys come off in a great light here though.

Neither look good in this. But Crawford seems worse imo. Again just from the report.

Haha, yeah, assuming the stuff in that report is legit, they each come off as total manchildren.

Jeez, to think, the movies with Mel Gibson all came off as a pretty tight-knit pleasant working environment from what we know. :oldrazz:

An ageing Major Payne and a d*ckhead millennial with a man-bun are the ones causing things to spill out of control?

Haha. You don't want to make Mel Gibson angry. You wouldn't like it when he's angry.

I can't link the youtube version of the Crawford rant (foul language rule on SHH!)

but the actor having to listen to this actually looks like he's scared. Most likely staying in character

Crawford channelling the spirit of Mel Gibson during his DUI arrest and his rants against his girlfriend?

I don't know how well this new season will do.

Sean William Scott will always be Stiffler to me.

It would of been funny if they got Mel Gibson's actor son, Milo in the show

Nothing against SWS, but this show doesn't deserve to be on due to the shenanigans Wayans pulled to get Crawford off the show followed by his Twitter meltdown that occurred when fans and actual crew members from the show defended Crawford and called out Wayans' own diva behavior on-set. He subsequently threatened to leave if certain crew members he thought were loyal to Crawford weren't fired. WB kowtowed to his demands and fired nearly 1/3 of the show's production crew.

Yeah, I have no interest at all. They cutout the heart of the show.

I wouldn't be surprised if this show goes downhill and is cancelled after this season. Or maybe it will even be axed halfway through.

Never really watched the show besides a few clips (just to see if the guy was a fitting Riggs, which i felt he was), but seriously how can you have Lethal Weapon without Riggs, THE Lethal Weapon. That's just ridiculous. Oh and good lord that green screen is atrocious in that clip. They couldn't use anything else? That needs a lot of work.

So I guess Riggs is dead after last season's cliffhanger? Or maybe, to avoid any sombre mood, they'll say that he quit after that and went off into retirement.

Most of the cast said positive things about Crawford. It seems like Wayans was the only one who didn't get along with him.

Given the way things ended on the show both on and off screen it is probable he's dead and not retired.

Does he have so much pull on the show as a whole?

That was filmed before he was fired or after? Was he dismissed immediately or given notice to finish up his work?

If he is dead, is there not going to be a plot for Murtaugh to hunt down Riggs's killer? While they didn't get on in real life, they were meant to be close friends on the show. You'd think Roger would do something like that and not let it rest.

Unless there's a time jump and he's already caught.

I'm not sure exactly when he was fired and when he was publically fired. The way things were going on the set it probably was meant to set up either way. The cliffhanger was so open he could survive the gunshot though in reality it probably would've been fatal but it's television so they could have given him the miracle "missed anything vital" dodge.

Most likely I think they will move on from that plot rather than focus too much on it. Try to distance the series from the bad blood between the actors. But who knows. Maybe the showrunners will want to punish Wayans for being an ass on the set and drag it out.

Well either way, I can't see that he never mentions Riggs again. First off, he was a big part of his life. Cops always mention their former partners. And second, if SWS is doing crazy things, then he's bound to remind Murtaugh of Riggs, at least in behaviour and crazy antics.

And isn't Murtaugh captain now? Why is he out there on duty with this new partner? Unless he was demoted or didn't feel happy being captain.

He is Damon Wayans. He's the biggest name on the show. The second biggest is probably Jordana Brewster because she was in the Fast and Furious movies. Clayne was third due to his role in Rectify. But yeah, Wayans is a bigger name.

Is Brewster even coming back to the show? Her character was important for Riggs.

Isn't she in a new show? Or maybe I'm remember wrongly. It's not really much of a role for her here anyway so I wouldn't blame her for moving on. You'd think she'd get to do more.
