So much funnier...Ron Burgundy said:I read it in an important medical journal.

satan himself is afraid of the joker. and i don't blame himIt's in the bible, too.
All of you guys are right. With this movie, I think a lot of people will realize that Vader or Lecter doesn't have anuthing on the Joker. I mean the Jack Nicholson Joker in Batman 89 was amazing and fun, but it isn't sinister and serious enough to be recognized as the greatest villain of all-time (not Jack's fault though, it's more in the writing and directing of the character). With this new movie, Nolan has the chance to prove to the world that the Joker is no funny business at all, that he is the most unpredictable, most vile, most sophisticated, most insane villain ever. And judging from the little I've seen from the trailer, Heath knows this too.

nothing has come close to the messed up things the joker has done. the killing joke is enough to make him the greatest villain of all time, but no interpretation (animated or live action) has come close to how evil and crazy the character is
Well yeah, the Killing Joke is one of the reasons why comic book fans know that the Joker is the greatest villain ever, but what I was talking about was the movie audience, which is broader and wider than comic fans.
i was agreeing with you that this is the closest we will get to the general public seeing what we all know. but yeah now that i read it again i didn't make that clear. that was what i never liked about Nicholson's joker, he never felt like a threat
Heath's take seems like he has a plan, but also wants to cause alot of destruction in the meanwhile.
I believe destruction is the plan.
Interesting with the title change on this thread.
Probably it's better this way. So... where the hell is Norm this time?![]()

Absolutely. But with that title comes the fact that you're top name on the board. You ready for that?
Lol, you're good Shoe, you can be Roma.Always. Come on, I'm a closer.
Enjoy your steak knives.
Guys... this isn't a Lounge. You know I like you guys, but if you wanna screw around, there's a thread for that. Don't get this one closed for us, eh?
Haha, actually I just sort of thought to myself about how we deviated a bit there.
So to get back on track... this has been sort of bugging me: anyone notice how in nearly all of the shots we've seen of Bats he has no visible pupils? Is is simply the photos and angles or are they actually implementing some sort of lenses as rumored? Because I for one have never been fond of the whole lens idea. Not that I'm saying I think it's true... but it still made me wonder.
Keeping his pupils out of sight is cool with me, keeps him more beast like. But at the same time, I'm not huge on the lens' either. So if a shadow blocks his eyes, I'm all for it. But if a lens does... eh.
My thoughts exactly.
