Anyone know how weed affects someone with bi-polar?

My brother is a pot head through and through. He smokes that oil stuff likely every weekend and I don't know the specifics of the oil, but I hear it can be some pretty heavy stuff. I have no problem with weed (except when he smokes it in the house because I hate the smell), I'm just curious if the chemicals affect his mental condition.

I'm having a hard time trying to figure out if his bi-polar becomes worse when he smokes or when he doesn't.

Congress is trying to stop it and local DC politicians are trying to say congress doesn't have the right to stop it.

Cannabis oil is a lot stronger than weed/skunk.

I have no clue to be honest.

But DC residents are not going down without a fight.

Hopefully if they make enough noise congress will buckle and let the legislation go through.

I find that watching films high makes it a very entertaining and immersive experience, but my own impression of every aspect of the film gets amped up to the Nth degree so that fairly judging quality, subjectively for myself, gets muddy so I feel I have to see something again sober to really make a judgement. So, like, even a halfway decent crime drama with an atmospheric tone gets a FINCHER's SE7EN type reaction out of me, but when I go back and watch it clear headed it has a far less impact. When it comes to comedy I have never found I laugh more than I normally would when high. Chances are, if I find it really funny high, I'll find it really funny sober and vice versa.

I think it's because you notice alot more layers and subtext when high.

How much of that subtext was intended by the director and how much is personal to you is anyone's guess.

Yeah, it's an unfortunate, but IMO necessary, step to getting out of the clusterf*** that prohibition put us in.

The best part is obviously Cartels are getting hit hard by Pot legalisation.
Upping Heroin & Meth production, I don't know if that's going to do much for them since, as far as I know, Pot brought in their biggest revenue. And with so many people now buying Pot from legal sources the exposure to Heroin/Meth pushing dealers has probably declined, so even if they "flood" the US with more Heroin....

I have most pity for the Mexican farmers. Most of those guys are probably just regular folk trying to put food on the table. It's being under the rule/terror of violent Cartels that has them growing this stuff.

Same deal in the middle east. Poor farmers trying to provide for their family, regular crops (wheat, corn, etc) don't make much money, but Poppy's (Heroin) make good money. So they borrow seeds from Drug Cartels with the promise to repay, but the Law Enforcement come in and destroy the crops. Now the farmers are in big dept to dangerous people that they can't pay back, so the Cartels take their children, wives and often the farmers themselves and sell them into slavery. The reach of nonsensical Western drug policies has far reaching and vicious effects.
