Ben Affleck and Amy Adams chief among them, and neither of them (well, Ben in his most recent years) have shown a tendency to jump blindly into a long, big-budget series.

I feel like this wouldn't have been leaked if there wasn't a chance.

I remember long ago Ben's name was leaked for something DC related...and it was related to Batman, so I wasn't surprised when he was announced as Batman.

I think there is a little fire from wherever this smoke is coming...I got my fingers crossed.

Some are saying his talent would be wasted on Lex and were hoping he would be the new Joker. Which I could actually see, but Lex is just as nuanced a role as that one. Luthor is honestly just as crazy obsessive as Joker is deep down.
