Umm, so I saw Toyman mention on the previous page. Is he rumored for the movie. I sure as **** hope not. Unless it's just a quick cameo thing (a villain Superman stops in the first five minutes sort of thing) I don't ever want to see Toyman in a movie. The only way to take him seriously is if you turn him into a John Wayne Gacy type, and I don't want to ever see something like that in a superhero film.

There is plenty of comic book material that works in that medium "ok" but should never make it to film... I'm with ya on that.

Toyman in a little cameo could work. Say Lex hires him to take out a rival or a distraction for Supes.

There are always tons of rumors that aren't true, believing the vast majority of rumors is ******ed.

Toyman was majorly creepy and awesome on STAS. If they go with that interpretation, and take it in a slightly more mature direction, he could be a great creepy side villain.

He kidnaps Lois and Bruce to turn them into living dolls. :o

I think Phoenix's performance in Buffalo soldiers is a nice example of him being able to play both scheming, intelligent and charming.

A bit of Ray Elwood miced with a bit of Commodus would make for an awesome Lex Luthor.

Judging from the references to Lexcorp in MoS

We know the following about Lex.

* Lex is involved in a company called Lexcorp

* He has a corporate office building in Metropolis

* Lexcorp is involved with farming and agriculture.

* Lexcorp has a hand in the petroleum business.

Those last two points should tell you that Lex is going to be veeeeery rich and powerful in this sequel if he's introduced.

^ It also tells us that Lex is a business man and owns a company/is the CEO since it wears his name. Which means no real estate swindler Lex. It could be the Lex I've always wanted.

Large companies pull off real estate swindles, too. They just make millions at a time, and call them mortgage backed securities.

It would be a neat little nod if there was a scene where Lex's lackey is following him and summarising the company profit report and mentions the "land deal in california".

^ That might be kind of cute, but I'm hoping there aren't any "nods" after SR was one giant nod.

As long as it wasn't made a big deal of and it was in between other profit points I think something like that could work.

How about a massive superhuman fight in Otisburg?

^ I think having a random map with the word "Otisberg" as a capital would cause many of the older audience to chuckle :D

My source, General Napier, has informed me, Matthew Goode recently had a meeting with Warner Bros. executives to discuss a role in Zack Snyder’s untitled Superman/Batman film. As for which role? That was not disclosed.

In the past, Goode was one of several actors on Warner Bros. shortlist for the role of Superman in Zack Snyder's Man of Steel, that eventually went to Henry Cavill ("The Count of Monte Cristo"). And this isn't even the first time Goode's name has been linked to Batman Vs. Superman. Last August, The Hollywood Reporter reported Goode was in contention for the role of Batman/Bruce Wayne, which eventually went to Ben Affleck ("Argo").

Goode previously worked with Zack Snyder on the 2009 adaptation of the classic comic, Watchmen. Currently, the English actor has a recurring role on the CBS hit-drama, The Good Wife.

Could be Lex, Brainiac.

Goode as Lex, I'm not really seeing it. Goode as either Metallo, Parasite, or even Flash, now that I could see.

Goode as Lex? Eh, can't really see it. If he was Brainiac, Metallo, or even Parasite, I could definitely see that. Always been a fan of his.
