The Dark Knight Likes And Dislikes

Well, still I guess it depends of wow factors. I found a lot in BB when I watched it for the first time. But most sequels do have more wow factor.

Yet I understand that aspect, I think Cone was saying it will be less dark. And I still believe he does not mean what you mean. I was gathering that he thinks the Joker's theatricality would take away from the serious aspect of the movie. And that seemed to be what he was insinuating.

Fair enough. Although he seemed to agree with my post and then asked me to elaborate . . . and of course, I can only state my opinion and not his.

But it's been nice and refreshing to be able to disagree with someone to a certain extent and it not turn into a flame war. For this, I thank you. ;)

Oh I forgot that there is no REAL batcave (that we know of), that would be a dislike for me.

I have a feeling that by the end of the film Wayne Manor will have been rebuilt and we will see the Batcave. It makes sense not to have the cave right now, considering how his mansion is the only access to the cave, and last I checked, it was still being rebuilt. :oldrazz:

I think we'll Wayne Manor rebuilt by the end also, but I wish we could have had the visual of Bruce sitting in the REAL cave watching his monitors, pondering how he will stop the Joker.

Considering that Nolan has kind of implied that Joker won't die at the end of the film, this may be an image we are going to see. Imagine, the end of the film being a shot of Batman sitting in the cave, staring at the screen, watching looped videos of Joker wreaking havoc/whatever, and then looking at a picture of Harvey, and then a picture of Two Face. The camera lingers on Batman for about 10 seconds, then a large wide shot of the Batcave, then credits roll.

Ah sarcasm, an art easily conveyed in real life but in the cyber world, not so much :o

I was thinking the same. It's a slippery slope when using it in writing.

Guhh the internet fails epically. :oldrazz:

I think I may be one of the few people who absolutely loves the new Batsuit. (not sarcasm btw)

I learned to accept the torso, but I never, EVER learn to like the legs. I'd still much prefer the BB suit, even tweaked slightly.

Man you scared me for a second. :oldrazz:

Guess I've been around the brainless IMDB trolls for too long. Methinks I will stay away form IMDB until the end of time.

I think you need to take the "Why so serious?" line in account more often and "Lighten up!!!". :hehe:

Dislikes:
The Joker's "punk" look
lack of perma-white on the joker
Heath Ledger as the Joker
Rachel Dawes returns
Lack of a bat cave
The new suit's cowl and nose piece
Michael Caine as Alfred

Man, we don't have a happy fan here! donk, what don't you like about Heath playing the Joker?

The BB suit was probably the closest thing to a cloth/spandex suit we were going to get. I think peopel will like the TDK suit more once the film is out and we finally learn why Bruce needs a new suit. The obvious reason could be the rumoured destruction of the tumbler and/or a need for better mobility, flexibility, a cowl that doesn't limit head and neck movement, and all around practicality.

^Yeah right!!! We all know Jack is a silly Joker. Heath is the real deal in this one.
