Don't **** with Lizard, lol.
Sorry guys I believe this is what were getting, they wouldnt show a trailer with a good glimpse of the look of the villain and then go and majorly change it. I think its something we all need to accept at this point, Lizard will not have a longer alligator like snout.
look at the shot of Venom from the first trailer to the final version....CHANGED COMPLETELY.

I have to admit its the one thing about this film I'm not convinced abut the look of the lizard. Kinda reminds me f one if those aliens from the super mario movie.
whoa...is that an actual scene from the film? Lizard looks HUUUUUUUUUUUGE
Well, I think he could have looked better if they gave him some clothes and gave him five fingers. However, it still can work. The battle scenes between him and Spidey look awesome.
The thing about his face that makes it looks weird is that everything else on him looks fully transformed and lizard-ish, so his rather human face makes too much of a contrast
I'm glad we didn't get raptor head Lizard.
Agreed. Having a Lizard that looked like a raptor would have not only made connors transformation into that less believable, it would have defeated the purpose of calling him Lizard.
I think the Lizard in this is perfect. His face reminds me alot of Macfarlane Lizard just that the brow and snout is slightly less pronounced.
He looks like Killer Crock from The Batman

The Lizard looks like The Lizard from the Comics.

Stop complaing because he doesn't look like a raptor or an alligator. THOSE AREN'T LIZARDS!
Not to get deep into it, but if you ignore screentime or personality and just consider the visual appearance of Venom....I thought he looked pretty awesome. He reminded me of the original McFarlen Venom who was only slightly bigger than Spidey. But he had the fangs, the tongue, the eyes, the white spider emblem, and I personally liked the raised webbing inclusion as it fit well with the aesthetic of Raimi's films.
To me, this Lizard would be like if they did a Venom without fangs, but normal teeth, a nose and instead of a white spider, he was a complete black ninja looking character. That's a bastardization and that's kind of what they did to Lizard, in my opinion.
Not the McFarlane version I remember.

He even came off too fatty-bulky at times.
I think his face should look more like this.

The face he has in the movie reminds me of Goombas from Super Mario movie.
I was thinking his first appearance:

He's bigger, but he isn't hulking over him like some fans expect from the character. Another way to put it is if you showed me a picture of SM3's Venom out-of-context from the movie (if I'd never seen it), I'd go "Venom." Same with Doc Ock or Sandman. If you showed me this Lizard, I wouldn't know it was supposed to be the iconic character from the comics.
It seems like everyone wants this:

Here's the thing though: Thats an alligator/T-Rex hybrid head. Not a Lizard. Case closed.
I completely agree. That would have been generic and uncreative.
Exactly. Plus the Lizard has always had an humanoid or humanoid esque head.
The gator snout type Lizard appeared a few times and it didn't look great.
The Todd McFarlane Lizard look is arguably the most popular/known and we've essentially got a modified version of that look for TASM.
Why complain?

The TAS Lizard (the face, at least) doesn't look like that at all. If anything, it's a modified version of the Ditko/Romita designs.
.He doesn't look that good...
He basically looks like the villain from The Incredible Hulk.
Well, what did you expect? A Velociraptor in a lab coat?
yes, actually...lol
