Connors doesn't die. Beenox accidentally spilled the beans on this when talking about their game. The game takes place after The Amazing Spider-Man and Connors plays a huge part in the game. I believe they said that Connors helps Spider-Man similar to how he is in the comics/90's cartoon.

I don´t think so because he was in jail in the trailer and that would be another diference than Raimi´s trilogy

There's that. The fact that Connors is in a prison cell in the trailer (which is likely from the end of the movie) and simply the fact that Webb may want to do something different than Raimi and NOT have the villain die at the end of every movie. It'd be cool to see Spidey/Peter going to Connors for help in a sequel, like in the comics, shows, etc.

I doubt Connors is going to let himself be captured before Peter makes him "see the light". I also doubt that anybody's going to try and capture a person that could turn into a 9ft monster at any time.

I find this refreshing if so, and hope it is a portent for how this reboot treats most of its future villains.

Yeah, I have always fully expected him to die, and to die knowing Spider-Man is in fact a good force for the City.

Well he could turn good and be locked up. I dont think cops would be like, "oh it was all a big mistake but now you are a good guy? Never mind you dont have to go to jail for throwing cars off bridges and launching a biological attack on the city."

He can't help Peter from prison either...if you are referring to the video game rumors.

I hope he is a good guy misguided by the serum and corrects his ways but the trailer makes him seem evil and bad guys get killed unless they have a bigger arc to span multiple movies.

Well, certainly seems like Connors is alive and well, by game standards anyway. So he is pretty much confirmed to survive ASM...it'd be silly to kill him in the film and then all of a sudden have him alive in the game. At any rate, I hope Rhys appears in future installments...it'd definitely jive with Connor's "helper" status in the comics.

Beenox worked with Sony to do the game, they have seen the movie (this is confirmed). The game is after the movie, so it's clear that...
