If you have noticed, It does not seem for lizard to even have a small snout. His faces looks very human. Sure it may resemble Ditko's version, but Ditkos version was that human.

However, the lizard here looks radically different then his appearance in Comic Con.

The lizard in comic con looks like a green velcoraptor. Maybe this image is a really good photoshop. Either way, I'll bear with the appearance of the lizard.

It's amazing how everything looks so right until you see his face head-on. The tail, the claws, that shot of his eye... I dunno though, maybe a Raptor-esque head looked too goofy.

People who saw the SDCC footage said that the Lizard in the promo art, etc was almost exactly how he looked in the footage. People who hadn't seen the footage were adamant that he would have a snout based on those two low quality stills...

You will see the similarities. The square brow, everything, it's there.

People said that the reason why his face looks so long in those pics is because he was STICKING his neck out. Everyone mentioned that he had a flat face after seeing the footage.

I just think as long as the shots are cool, and the Lizard is still a character and not just a plot device, then I don't care. He looks like a big lizard. Nothing wrong with that.

Yeah but here is a side view. He does not have much of a long neck and has a little "snout". I haven't seen the footage so you may be right, but he looks like a raptor in the comic con pics.

Yeah, he does have a slight snout or at least as much of a snout as I always imagined Ditko's Lizard would have. The side shots, especially the rooftop one, shows that off.

I won't lie I would have preferred Lizard with a snout. But aside from that I love the design. The tail, the clawed hands and feet, the green scaly quality of his skin etc.

His right hand, the one that he regrows, has 4. So even the one purpose that the formula holds isn't fulfilled.

Which is a perfectly fine reason of why he has a different amount of fingers, imo. I mean, with his five fingers intact on his left hand, it gives a reason why his face could have a humanoid look instead of an actual reptile.

But didn't his fleshy, regrown arm had five fingers in the footage too??

Can anyone confirm that his right arm did fully grow and also grew five fingers?

I think he looks great , and as you can see , he does have 5 fingers , am a little bummed though about no lab coat or purple pants.............lol

Perhaps he grows out of his clothing, which is more realistic, imo, then Hulk still having his pants, lol.

Anyways....Lizard looks amazing.

Hmm, I'll take the word of what countless people have said over what it "looks" like. Although initially, months ago, seeing those leaked screens, I did think he had a snout. But now, especially with the screen I posted in my previous comment, the similarities are glaringly obvious, imo.

I agree , I think he looks great just the way he is , I was worried he'd end up looking like somethink out of Jurassic Park , then we'd never hear the end of it

The thing about his face that makes it looks weird is that everything else on him looks fully transformed and lizard-ish, so his rather human face makes too much of a contrast

This is the issue for me, I'd like more of a snout or raptor head, but oh well...

I literally asked Rhys face to face whether he gets a snout later in the film and he said no. (at the london event)

If Connors has to inject himself with the serum, how is he trying to create a New York full of lizard people? You can clearly see the serum there.

I as well. It gives Lizard some human sensibilities still, and also with five fingers still on the left hand. I think going full Lizard could happen if he took more of the serum, as Peter could become full spider if the spider kept biting before he swat it away.

well with the lizard basically being the hulk with a tail hopefully they wont do it twice and go with ultimate goblin in the sequel
