I like TASM take on the lizard, very creepy. In a way this movie has a buffy season 1-3 vibe to it. With a higher budget. Lol

I guess I'm in the boat that thinks the design looks great, he would look cool with a snout, still looks cool not having a snout at all. I think they may have chosen to not give him a snout so that they would be able to display emotion in his facial expressions. The humanoid look works for me because after all, this was a freak accident that occured to Connors, I dont think he should come out looking exactly like a well........lizard.

tv shows are better, allows more room for character development.
Only upside to the movies is a better budget.

In the internet fan's mouths...who make up a very small portion of the box office. The movie was received ok. It's not nearly as big of an abortion to cinema as the Internet suggests. Also...the Internet wanted Venom in SM3 and now people are doing it again on here! Let's hope Avi Arad shoe horns him into TASM2!!!!

Not even close. I am by no means a Raimi fan when it comes to Spider-man, but if you honestly think SM3 is worse then films like Ghost Rider, Punnisher (any of them) Steel, Elektra, Supergirl, Batman and Robin, or the 90's Captain America and F4, then you have a very skewed idea of what makes a bad film. And that's just bad comic films I've mentioned. If we wanted to make a list of the all time bad films in general, SM3 wouldn't even be in the bottom half.

I think the reason people (and when I say people, I mean comic fans, because the general audience didn't really care) so strongly to SM3 was because it was so highly anticipated. I think it's fair to say that SM3 was one of the most disappointing superhero films ever. But that is very different from being one of the worst.

No villain in Raimi's trilogy should be used except for Green Goblin.

As much as it'll be nice to see Doc Ock again, I just don't really see him fitting into this new series, and also because there needs to be room to see others, but GG is one exception that should be used especially since we have Gwen Stacy. Someone else can cause the death of Captain Stacy.

Absolutely. It was the most disappointing CBM to date and one of the most disappointing movie going experiences of my life. It was highly aniticpated and with the success both critically and by general audiences for SM2, you'd expect SM3 to be very good at the least. I think critically it was around 63% on the Tomatometer (RT), which is still pretty good.
