Thats how you do it. He has enough money. i belive the R rating will give them freedom to make this the best possible wolverine movie. and based on the reactions its true.

I only want to see Rogue. Wolverine and Rogue started the franchise together in X1. I think it would be great to see them both together for the last time.

I wholeheartedly agree! That would be a great nod to the beginning of the franchise.

I would love to see a more experienced Rogue kick some a** trying to protect Logan and Laura.

they should have done this already in "The Wolverine". They wanted a bizarre action filled comic book ending so they could have easily brought in a small team of X-Men to battle the Silver Samurai in the last arc. Claremont's Wolverine Japan story also ends in Uncanny X-Men with the X-Men coming to Wolverine's wedding to Japan and Rogue and Wolverine kicking some ass together.

Not sure it will work for Logan's tone though...I would prefer for Logan to have an emotional, small scene with Rogue. Maybe Rogue attending Logan's funeral in the end and she is taking care of X23...

So my reliable source just confirmed Logan takes place in 2029, which is 6 years after the future ending of DOFP.

I think that puts Xavier at like 95 years old.

A virus and a hunt for remaining mutants is probably the best scenario. It would explain weakened powers of the Wolverine.

Well if Logan and Laura bury poor xavier in what looks like a personal funeral in that shot from the trailer but Logan gets a proper funeral where the X-Men turn up... Well.

Seein as Logan of all people is looking after Xavier I doubt any X-Men will just randomly show up.

On a somewhat unrelated note, Ryan Reynolds recently said he'd like to see Jackman's Wolverine team up with Deadpool. I think were this a. not Jackman's last appearance as the character, and b. maybe earlier in this film series and if we had a good idea of when Deadpool takes place (not that it would matter), it would be possible. Now, though, with Jackman adamant that it's his swan song, it seems unlikely.

I love that idea. Cable comes back to the present/past with a small team from the future. Would love to see Bishop and an older version of X23 getting ready to star in X-Force.

Bishop coming back would be great. He could collect Sunspot for New Mutants and go into the past to get Psylocke as well.
