Yes :ilv: It doesn't feel real yet, and it probably wont until I'm there opening night with my diet soda :oldrazz:

My beverage will be an ice cold beer. But cheers, nonetheless!

So I'm not looking for any spoilers. Just one question. Does anyone know if the movie starts with a time/date? "2028" or "the distant future" etc.

My understanding is no. You only hear what the year is over a car radio.

Not sure if any of you use Reddit, but Mangold is doing an AMA tomorrow at 9:15 AM PST.

Could be a good chance to ask some questions that might get answered.

I'm sure he does want to be in it, and in a perfect world where fans get everything they want, it would happen.

Maybe some day.

I think people are taking his words to mean he would change his mind if X-Men joined the MCU but I think what he means is he may have not even thought about leaving had that of been the case but now he has made up his mind and made his his movie that is that

Same with Ryan trying to get him to be in a wolverine/deadpool movie, Yeah it may be tempting for him but he clearly made his up mind and wants to keep to it.

The Jackman MCU stuff is making the rounds on the ol inter webs

Can't imagine fox is happy about that haha.

Well, I'm sure he wants that RDJ money.

Don't think Fox really cares. They've had worse things said about them. It's natural to be interested in the only thing he basically hasn't done as Wolverine so.

Patrick stewart from Kernels podcast

"Hugh was sitting next to me, with James [Mangold] on the other side of him. and the audience were clearly very caught up in it and that was satisfying. It got into the last five or six minutes of the movie and Hugh's hand came over and he took mine and he squeezed my hand. He looked at me and he had big tears and, of course, that set me off. Here we are, the two X-Men wiping away the tears at our own movie! And then I thought while we were watching, 'My God, this is a goodbye ending. What could I possibly do that could top this? As I've lived with that idea over the past few days, I thought: 'Yeah, it's absolutely right that we should both of us just move on now.' The franchise won't die [without us].“

Oh, damn. That's beautiful.

That would never happen.Feige in event fox did a sony like deal would do reboot and would never bring actor who played wolverine in 9 films for fox
into MCU.

At end of day while some will say see jackman himself is saying X-Men at fox is crap it won't matter.jackman is done.wolverine may or may not appear in films till fox does full reboot and X-Men isn't going to Disney.

Mcu would never touch these X-Men films made by Fox. Why include Fox's messy continuity into MCU's films? I would rather see Marvel reboot the Fantastic Four and the X-Men.

What will be interesting is if Marvel rethink their stance on doing more adult fare if Logan is as big a hit financially as it is critically.

I'd certainly like to see a Thunderbolts film that skews a bit darker, or a Captain America movie that actually fully displays the absolute monster that the Red Skull is.

I doudt it.especilly with tone they have established.plus it seems like with
exception of avengers and possibly spider-man characters only get trilogy.just like completion of iron man trilogy stark has been in avengers and other heroes films but no plans for iron man 4 it seems like cap may only be used in
avengers films.

Feige kind of downplayed r rating and it's elements to success fox had with deadpool.

If they didn't do it with Deadpool, I doubt they would with Logan.

Why would marvel bother? What they been doing so far has been working out fine.

MCU isn't really in a place where they have to rethink their stance. I doubt Logan would earn as much as Dr. Strange in America though Logan's budget is obviously lower.

While Marvel still have their Netflix shows. Like I would prefer to see Daredevil and company in the big screen and have more intimate and gritty feel compare to their other MCU films but that ain't happening. Phase 3 is in full motion and unlike Fox's films, those films already have dates unless something moves again.
