He also had the best cameo in First Class.
"Excuse me, I'm Erik Lehnsherr"
"Charles Xavier"
"Go F**K Yourselves"

I'd love to think that his line was improvised by Hugh.
The original line was "F**k off" so technically it was improvised. :woot:

Has anyone already seen the version with surprise for the fans?Hope original cast cameos. #fingerscrossed

There is a surprise version??? :ilv:

The 3 minutes added to the runtime, that everyone thought was a post credits scene, is supposedly a clip "for the fans" before the movie.

According to kinberg sounds like they may be thinking about setting more movies in the post Logan future to explore that world abit more.

I am gonna guess Alpha Flight.

I think even something we’ve not talked about, but it’s something I started thinking about recently was telling stories that precede the X-Men and that maybe come after “Logan” — not just an X-23 story, but a story of what does the world look like and what do mutants look like. There’s tons of X-Men and groups within the X-Men world that could exist and not contradict the timeline, but actually fit and live within that world. “Deadpool” was a good example of a film that was a standalone film that acknowledged, even in its funny jokey way, the X-Men.

2 most likely possibiltys

1:X-23 solo film
2:X-force may be set post logan if they want X-23 as part of it

it would be very easy to reveal Xavier didn't wipe out all the mutants in the incident but some who survived have been in hiding

it doesn't take a rocket scientist when you consider how X-23 took wolverine's place in comics for similar thing in films especilly with the raves she got for logan.

This should be a mandatory viewing before all of you go watch Logan. ;) Just to clarify: not my video. I just spend a lot of time watching tribute videos and I liked this one the best as far as Logan tributes go. I hope the extra 3 minutes thing in fact is something like this, looking back on the past 17 years. Spoiler warning: there is some minor footage from both Logan trailers in there.

The feels!

The feels!
SAME. Leaving to see Logan in about 24 hours now.
I like the ending to that video.
Yeah me too. Right now there are a lot of black and white videos with sad songs and seemingly random footage from all the movies. There is something about this tribute that feels more genuine. It seems to be telling more of a story.

44 hours for me. Rather excited for a film I had virtually no interest in when it was announced :D

I love looking at how attitudes towards this film changed after the first trailer dropped, including myself. (Esp by reading that first trailer thread) It's just crazy how the most lowkey film has just come out and delivered something tremendous and something that people seem to really love.

3 days, 1 hour, 34 minutes... not that I'm counting or anything, though.

It's very good. The song choice is perfect, the black and white format is very fitting too.

You know, seeing on how well James does at making Wolverine's films, along with his directorial and visual style, I would love to see on what a full X-Men film would look like if he was at the helm.

Jerry Seinfeld Convinced Hugh Jackman to Quit Playing Wolverine

Hugh Jackman will play Wolverine for the last time in this year's Logan, and he's not the only one ending his X-Men role. Patrick Stewart also announced his retirement as Professor Charles Xavier. But only one of them can say it was a comedy legend who inspired his decision to quit his iconic role.

It turned out that Seinfeld spoke with him on the phone. While talking about his decision to end the role behind with Jimmy Fallon, Jackman shared the moment when he talked to Seinfeld on the phone, and here's how it went:
"Look, when you're creating something it's very important not to run yourself dry. It's not about finishing on top necessarily, but making sure you creatively got something left, which propels you into whatever is next. "
This influenced Jackman's decision to bid farewell to his character, but I hope that Jackman's next step will be bigger than Seinfeld's The Bee Movie. You can watch the interview below:

Hugh also improvised the lines in DOFP too like, "You wanna pick all that **** up?". Hugh just knows Wolverine inside and out so he can channel whatever he would say into the situation.

I'm sad that they cut the "I'm a princess. What are you?/ I'm the Wolverine." exchange at the Maximoff house in the film as well. I thought it continued the thematic thread from The Wolverine in which Logan comes to accept himself again. It was a great little bit.
