Lol imagine the panic we would all suffer if tomorrow the movie got panned Suicide Squad style. Or BvS.
After BvS and SS, I'm honestly prepared for this to be destroyed even though we've heard people in interviews say they already liked it, lol.

Yeah, That's possible and I'll be very hurt.
This is supposed to be a huge moment of two decade of X men movies !!!
Ups and downs are part of life.
Hugh has given us great moments and I'm grateful for that !!!

That would have to mean the movie takes a dramatically bad turn after that initial 40 minutes that everyone loved which I cant see happening unless that remaining hour and 20 mins is a CGI fest.

No Spoilers..but putting it in spoiler form anyway.
To preface my short writeup of the film i'll go on to say this post will contain no spoilers.
James Mangold did a fantastic job directing the film and it was a lot longer than I anticipated.
The film begins in the year 2029.
The film starts off with Logan well being Logan. I was surprised at the amount of gore this film has. It definitely warranted an R rating with the amount of cursing and blood shed in the film.
To some of the posts i've seen here of the trailer, they do not do the film justice. It was a frenetic and endearing film with sequences of adrenaline mixed with heartache.
This might be the first X-Men film I actually shed a tear on.
I will be seeing it again in IMAX. What a ride. The cinematography and staging of shots was incredible.
Donald Pierce was one hell of a villain but there are plenty of surprises throughout this film that will keep you coming back for more.
I did not stay to see if there was an end-credits scene. This is without a doubt Hugh Jackman's best portrayal of Wolverine.

With my bad english... Sorry.

Applause and tears after the press pass in Berlin. A Russian journalist claimed that it is the best superhero movie ever made.

Thank you so much. It seems as if this writer is covering the Berlin Film Festival and was at the event judging by his recent articles. Does he mention a source anywhere or is it him?

He is covering the festival so the source is he.

Exactly one year ago to the day. Sitting in Miami reading the first hard copy of @WolverineMovie @20thcenturyfox

I wish they didn't have to ruin the first Wolverine movie. Could've been a great trilogy.

I agree with you about the first movie. But think of it this way. Many trilogies the movies get worse as you go along, Wolverines got better and better as it went along:woot:.

Thank you so much!

Well that is some praise isn't it? It sounds so good I'm suspicious, haha.
Yeah, same. What film were they watching... It can't be this good.

This is more of a general thing, but given how well Logan looks to be being received, Fox ought to consider seeing if Mangold could do another solo X-Men. Or X-Men film in general.

I mean, Gambit still doesn't have a director, right? Or maybe another character. Point is, as much as we talk about Fox going back to Singer often or him being involved with the franchise, Mangold looks like he could do some great work with solo films, though obviously part of that would depend on the character in question. What works for Logan might not work for say, a Storm solo or Magneto solo.

Mangold said he wants to move on with this genre for now in an interview.
Want to do something different next!!!

Only if Mangold feels passionate about another super-hero flick.

He didn't rule out another film in the X-franchise, but he did point out he's done two Wolverine films in a row. He's going to want to take a break and do a different kind of film to recharge and then maybe see if anything gets him excited again.

I have said since before even The Wolverine came out I would love for Mangold to take over the team movies once Singer left. The guy is a really good director and I have loved a fair few of his movies.

However it's whether he has the passion for the project. You can tell with his movies normally whether he had passion for it or not. So I would only want him on it if he wanted to do it.

Yesterday I actually didn't even remember that this is coming in just two weeks and now it's just about to get raving reviews. I consider this to be a jackpot when it comes to anticipating a movie. :D
