Yeah I'm not entirely sure why so many people considering kissing to be more intimate than sex. Maybe it's because sex is so natural that even animals do it, while humans are unusual to have so many nerve endings on the lips and use kissing to communicate affection. I mean, chimps kiss, but it's a fairly platonic kiss of reconciliation after a fight. Bonobos kiss for affection, but we all know bonobos are sex fiends.

I think another reason i'd much rather kiss a stranger than have sex with one, is that I don't particularly enjoy sex all that much, especially with a stranger or someone who I don't find sexually attractive. It'd probably be an unpleasant experience for me.

Those couples that get married without kissing are idiots. You need to connect on a physical level as well as an emotional level or else you'll be miserable. What if that first post-wedding kiss, the chick thinks the dude's breath taste like butt or his lips are like wet sausages? Marriage fail.

I think there's a little too much imposing of people's personal values in this thread on pretty much any and every relationship ever. People can be perfectly happy pursuing that kind of relationship. It may not be normal or typical, but it can and does happen, and successfully.

I think you have to let it go. I know you are still a little sore about some the other poster's opinions about your choices/relationships.

JJJ has a point about opinions and our threads.

I think a bunch of people poopooed Anita's relationship because of the slowness and now she's going to get married.

But that situation worked for her, but it might not have worked with other posters here.

At your reported age (which you never give us a straight answer about really) I would expect you to have enough women experience under your belt to know that many women string guys along and play games.
