I started buying DVDs when they first came out....I don't remember exactly when that was, but I would think around 30 years ago. So I have been collecting for a long time. I would conservatively say I have 4K movies and many many TV series.

Hadn't heard that yet. However, hearing the Disney buying 21st Century Fox deal finally went through might have resurrected a few dead things. Namely the F4 film franchise.

The X-Men, Dr. Doom, and Galactus in the MCU /drools. My guess, Fox drew out the signing til they could get that Deadpool 2 money.

Fair enough that we are assaulted with non-stop MCU movies every year. But, c'mon. The Fantastic 4 movies were a crime against humanity. Im not sure which is worse, the F4 movies, or any current Adam Sandler movie. Any change to who owns those movie rights has to be an improvement by default.

As for the X-Men films. I actually mostly enjoyed them as is. They're not nearly as good as they could be. I just want to see the X-Men finally get to be in the MCU, and stop being crapped on in the comics. Given I'm an X-Men fan over anything else Marvel does.

Plus a New Avengers style movie with Wolverine, and Spiderman sounds good (to me at least). Or Dr Doom/Galactus/Apocalypse/Magneto (not altogether, just any of them) vs the MCU would make a good movie if done right.

its more like 2 mcu movies a year. fantastic 4 needs to be shut the hell down for a while. Logan did right by all X-Men movies and xmen needs a break too.

the other ideas are cool.. but the main point im making is there needs to be a damn break. the box office argues otherwise though. so im obviously wrong.

As a big fan of Fargo and Legion, Noah Harley's Dr Doom film interests me more than any current MCU, DCEU, Fox X-Men or Spidey film. But we'll see what happens there. I'm pretty sure Herr Disney will own all media long before it comes to screens.

Spider-Aziz, have you watched The Changeling with George C Scott? If not, I recommend it. Great ghost story, elements I even think The Ring/Ringu ripped from (it even takes place in Seattle, in addition to other similarities), but it's significantly better.

I remember this one. I liked it, liked the 2016 remake a bit more. Still need to try the original.


I'll probably skip on that ghost movie suggestion, at least for a while.
