You have to understand how HUGE a star Reynolds was back in the day. He was like Bruce Willis in his prime big. And he was in a lot of crap... And he was also in some amazing gems. To get a sense of him try the original THE LONGEST YARD (much more of a serious character film than a wild man comedy like the remake), WHITE LIGHTNING, DELIVERANCE (of course), CANNON BALL RUN, CANNON BALL RUN 2 (for the lulz man, the lulz) and if you don't mind musicals a personal fave of mine THE BEST LITTLE ****E HOUSE IN TEXAS. (Dolly Parton in her prime... NEED I SAY MORE?)

I absolutely love the Canonball RUn with the ensemble cast it had & all the gags & one liners!!!

That image above never gets old. :funny:

Watch Indiana Jones or Back to the Future instead. :o

Dude, I realize Indiana Jones & Back To The Future are awesome films & everything, but there are other great films out there. You should really give them a chance & you might actually be surprised.

Glad that's out of the way. Now I can post some news and then game out on Black Flag

There are no other great films out there! I don't believe you! :csad:

Does anyone else remember that guy who was completely obsessed with Jaws and watched it like, 24/7?

IIRC, he was like, trying to methodically plan out a schedule where he could watch it every single day.

Wow that's obsession.

My most watched film is Bloodsport. Still have it on cassette after first watching it as 9 year old at my uncles house.

I have a bit of an obsessive personality.

I watched the crap out of TDK and Avatar, to the point where I got sick of them.

I also get "celebrity crushes" at random where I fixate on a certain actor.

I try to watch those only once a year or so just to avoid the burnout. Those are the two best blu-rays I own I still say. :)

I have been thinking a lot about Avatar recently, though. It's getting near time to pop that baby in. :D

I've watched the entire Star Wars saga to the point where I know the movie word for word.

The only movie I remember watching compulsively as a kid was Jurassic Park. More recently it was Batman Begins and TDK.

I can do that with the original three, but not the new ones so much. :(

Yeah add me into that group who got burned out on TDK. I've seen it so many times I'm shocked my blu-ray disc didn't break.

So, Brandon Routh goes from the Man Of Steel to Ray Palmer aka The Atom, interesting. :hmm
