It's so freaking funny. It's shocking Franco beat Kaluuya I guess HFPA really wanted to see what happens when they award Franco, Jackman wasn't even on the second spot.

What's really hilarious is that Franco didn't actually invite Wiseau to the stage but Wiseau just got up and started walking towards stage so Franco had no choice but to wave at him to come up :funny:

I just about died when he tried to give a speech and Franco stopped him.

Seriously, though I didn't think it was in any way mean. This was Franco's win. If he let Tommy get a hold of that mic, that's it, he wouldn't get to say anything. I'm sure if the film won for Best Comedy Franco would let Tommy say something

I don't know what cracks me up more, James/Tommy, Jackman's reaction or Nolan's overheard comment "one more left to lose and we can go drink" :funny:

Oh damn, I need to watch this! :woot:

Glad to see Logan Paul get a deserved backlash. He's always been really obnoxious and unfunny. That video he made is just sick.

Saying it was an accident was a weak excuse. He edits his videos and could have easily cut that scene.

His "apology" was probably the first one I've seen to include an emoji and a hashtag. :cmad:

Jesus....I haven't had a film make me wince so much as "Brawl in Cell Block 99". I thought I was desensitized to violence. But damn. This film.... Also I always knew Vince Vaughn would make a fantastic drama actor. What a performance.

A straight up no BS raw 70s style film.

Vaughn was excellent.
Is it like an extended take on Punisher's prison time in season 2 of Daredevil?

More or less. People who seem to mistake their popularity for some kind of moral authority, or opportunists who now use a situation, that they helped create, for political reasons to help their career. Worst part is they act like this is someone else's fault when they are the one who covered it up for so long. It's like saying some guy watching Star Wars in a theater is responsible for covering up for Weinstein, and not the hundreds of wealthy male and female elitists that knew all about it and said nothing for the sake of their own careers. Matt Damon can go suck a ****. After everything was exposed, for this type of people to try to take some moral highground is laughable to me.

Most ( not all ) live in a bubble, surrounded by yes men and women. They have NO idea how the real world works.
Rich bored people who take up the flavor of the week causes.

They wanna see the real world? come work with me for a week or two. I'm a EMT/firefighter, i'll show them some real shet.

I'm so happy *crying*

I was happy with Sterling K. Brown’s win. I expected it to go to Bateman.

Nolan clearly does not give a f*** and I love him for it.

I think he only stopped giving it when it was clear Dunkirk is going home empty handed

Dunkirk sucked so no surprise here.

disclaimer: Nolan is my favorite filmmaker.

Dunkirk is, objectively, the best made movie in 2017. I only give the edge to Wind River because of how powerful and timely it is and Logan because it moved me more

It was sooo boring considered it was written and directed by a guy who gave us TDK, Prestige, Memento, Inception, Interstellar, I mean, wtf happened?

I think Dunkirk is Nolan's 2nd best. It's also one of the few movies I saw in cinema TWICE. So I can't help you here.

I finally saw it last nite, it was good. It was definitely different, no doubt about that.
It jumped around a bit for my tastes, still, I enjoyed it.

Just finished episode 2 of True Detective, I heard about Alexandra Daddario there but nothing could prepare me...hnnnnnnggghhh :hmr::hmr::hmr:

But I'm still not hooked; don't know if I'm just not in the right mood, or it is a really slow burner or the being half-high....but it hasn't clicked for me yet...

Am I missing something??
