It is unforgivably hot outside.

A 10 minutes walk from my house to the local store and i'm sweating like ive been at the gym for a good hour.

Damn global warming.

It's hot here too.

Or is that just my boyish good looks.

I love Iron Man 3. I'd take that over the likes of Dr. Strange, Ant-Man or either of the Thor's in a heartbeat.
It's really the only film they've tried to correct via a One-Shot. Tho, my least favorite IM film is 2.

i still havent seen Strange yet
Don't listen to Reek, Strange is a pretty good Origin Film. It doesn't over explain magic, but, you REALLY have to pay attention to the surroundings during his training to see that several months have passed.

As someone who has been a superhero fan for around 55 years, and have watched pretty much every superhero related movie made (this includes Turkish, Phillipines, Japanese, Mexican, etc films).....in my opinion the current MCU films are all to be considered good while in the current DCU only WW is good (it's very good).

I love them all. I haven't seen all the other films from other countries, but, that Russian Guardians film looks interesting

Well, my 25 plus years of fandom isn't quite 55 years, but it's led me to listing Man of Steel as my favourite of the traditional superhero films. I also think Wonder Woman is great. BvS and SS are interesting failures.

In terms of consistency it's actually the X-Men series that's my favourite.

As far as being close to traditional Superhero comics I think, MoS, WW, IM, and First Avenger all hit it pretty danged close.
I loved Bats Begins, but I think I can't judge it right because, it was filmed where I lived, and my bro's fiance' worked for the company that did landscaping for the film

I really like Nolans Batman, I don't herald it is some kind of definitive take on the character though, my idea of Batman is a guy who absolutely will not stop, even in peace time, even when he should.

Everything good in my life I attribute to Mr. Christopher Nolan's epic masterpieces, the Dark Knight Trilogy.

I honestly don't know why any other movies come out except for Nolan movies. 1 a year should be sufficient for the masses.

I like Man of Steel more than Dark Knight Rises, and a fair number of MCU movies.

I also like Superman Returns more than Dark Knight Rises, and a fair number of MCU movies. So that may say more about me than anything else.

I just like that they aren't completely ignoring the Dark Knight Trilogy in the new DCEU.
They hint at alot of that past, even tho it COULD be slightly different. I still want to see what happened between those stories and BvS. It looks like it could be pretty Brutal.

I'll give him this; running away is more honorable than wiping her memory with a kiss. Both would get your ass shot off in West Bah God Virginia.

Can't collect child support if I'm in ****ing space, grappling with my long-lost history. He knew what he was doing.

In Superman 2 he reveals who he is to Lois and then they go to the Fortress of Solitude where Superman takes away his superpowers and he has sex with her. At the end of the movie Superman gives Lois a kiss that erased her memories. Superman Returns is supposed to be an alternate take on Superman 3. So Bryan Singer's interpretation of Superman 2 is that Superman impregnated Lois, made her forget that it happened, and then left Earth for five years.

I enjoyed MoS. BB and Dark Knight are two of my fave movies but I think the ball was really dropped with Rises.

My biggest complaint w/ Marvel at the moment is their animated side is hot garbage. They gear everything towards children when they have full rights to all the characters in animation and could do lots of cool direct to video releases like DC does.

DC animated has been killing it for years.

I wondered why Bill Cosby has been investing so much into Kryptonian research.

Just so people know....the reason I put my age in posts like that is, so many times I will see someone posting that movie "A" is the best superhero movie ever made....and upon further talking to them, you find out that they haven't seen 97% of the superhero movies and less than a hundred movies of any genre in their life. I want people to know that I have a fair amount of experience in seeing movies.

As to MoS.....for me, it was in the most part a good movie....my main complaint was the way they handled Pa Kent.

Clark: "I wanna be a hero"

Pa Kent:

Clark: I think I should do good in the world and save the lives of people I don't even know.

Pa Kent: Uh....people could find out that it's you doing it....then they would come to the farm.....and interrupt me while I'm growing corn....so....just let them die.
