Dark Matter, The Expanse, and Killjoys arent that type of scifi.

Killjoys is about bounty hunters that work for a shady corporation of bounty hunters. The Killjoys are like the law enforcement of a group of planets. Hijinks and hilarity and crazy **** ensues.

The Expanse is like a scifi version of game of thrones in space.

Dark Matter is about a crew of ubercriminals that wake up on a spaceship and discover that their memories were erased and deals with them trying to avoid the massive corporations that rule the galaxy while they figure who and what they are.

Basically all three are a mix of space opera, adventure, and scifi.

The C section scene in Prometheus literally made me sick to my stomach. Ridley Scott has to pay.

So what kind of sci-fi DO you like, Reek?

i mean i enjoy star wars, star trek, all that... i just dont care to see aliens eat their way out of you and **** like that... SPHERE and EVENT HORIZON were great though.

Did you like BSG?

well the same question could of been asked of you.. to which your only truly honest answer would be "I dont know, i havent opened any yet."
:funny:

havent seen it. Dwight Schrute loves it...

Oh. Well there goes my litmus test. *shrug*

i actually like Sphere too, and will watch it whenever its on. that being said, i will also watch Event Horizon when it is on, but i have an intense Love/Hate with that film. I have a Hate/Love/Mostly Hate thing with Starship Troopers too

Sci-fi has never really been my genre. Avatar disappointed me, but it sure was pretty. Does Minority Report count? I liked that movie a lot.

Of course Minority Report counts. Are you kidding?

I think I love pretty much all types of sci-fi. Except whatever Primer was.

you know i wasn't kidding lol
i'm learning.

i am pretty stoked to go see WW again tomorrow as i'm seeing it with two friends who are back in town. One is visiting from CT, and the other moved back from out of state, so basically its nice to do something social again

Well Minority Report is based on story by Phillip K. Dick, who is basically considered one of the paragons of sci-fi. But any "futuristic" story could be considered sci-fi, imo.

Hope you have fun with the friends tomorrow! I've pretty much seen WW with all the friends I could find at this point. And now I'll probably see it with my mom when she visits next week, lol.

My favorite PKD story is actually the least sci fi one.

Me too. I have a hate for Event Horizon and a love for Starship Troopers.

Er..where is the confusion here? :woot: Noone ever feels like working unless they're getting paid to do something they love, or at least like, which in your case might be staying at home and reading.

I could really rock a job reviewing crime books. :D

Fictional or true crime? (not really my thing either way ;))

You can get books from many new authors free (digitally) if you agree to review them afterwards. Don't know if that is of interest.

Is chrome being fixed right now?
The quick reply bar isn't even there on browsers of that type.
