who gives a **** about Han Solo... get this garbage out of the lounge. it has no place here. What a terrible spinoff idea.

As bad as a GoT Reek spinoff?

Welp, its what we expected:

More details emerge from the fallout surrounding the Han Solo movie

Im glad they left. Sounds like they went rogue and didnt give a damn about the overall franchise. We probably would have got Jump Street in space. Or some continuity breaking nonsense.

Jordan Vogt-Roberts @VogtRoberts

Read this and then remember one crucial thing: Han Solo LIKE A BOSS quipping "I know" in response to Leia saying "I love you" WAS IMPROVISED

Gareth Edwards boyfriend is more switched on than anyone at Lucasfilm who isn't named Rian Johnson.

Note the Bracelet, I've had this since 2003...it's the same kind Ragnar used on Vikings ;)

Improvisation is fine when it is good, but improv doesnt always result in gold. Han Solo's "I know" isnt a good reason to let Lord and Miller and the cast run wild improv'ing and ignoring the script. I doubt Disney minds if there is some improv during their film's production. It pretty much happens with every film to some degree and Disney is smart enough to realize that it isnt bad. Disney isnt going to cause a stink because of a bit of good harmless improv. Its likely what was being improv'ed anf to what extent that was the issue.

If it was anywhere as bad as what you and that article claim, they would have looked at the dailies and stepped in within the first two weeks of filming. They didn't, they waited a ridiculous amount of time with the majority of the film having been shot as is. So, yeah I'm gonna call BS on that article you posted being anything other than a lot of spin.

You hire two comedic directors and you get mad that they deliver you a comedy.

Yes this all is better than a Han Solo spin off.
So salty...

So truthful more like it.
I wanna see this happen as an SNL skit
I want to see a jokesonm3 SNL skit, but it would just be the same nonsense 23,000 times.

I would do a search for 95% of you peoples post the day Adele's 'Hello' came out... bunch of whiny ass people :lmao: OMG THIS SONG! SO DEEP!

I want you all to remember that day... and if someone else isn't currently looking for those post... i WILL find them eventually and relentlessly mock you .

This. It's a shame they left, I would have loved to see their vision come to life.

When she first got big I was working 14 hour shifts in a bakery. I only heard her a hundred times a day on the radio and detested her music since.

yes yes... i understand... hello.... its reek....

The only Adele song I've heard from beginning to end is Skyfall. I truly felt her raw emotion while she let the sky fall, and then subsequently decided to stand tall.

Also, for the longest time, I thought her name was pronounced "A-dell-lay".

This whole post is sig worthy in the extreme.

she sounds like a strangled cat. all her live stuff is lip sync'd

So I've been looking at various writing groups on FB so I could see if they had any tips on improving but most of what I see is self-congratulatory circle jerks.

Yeesh. "Your poem about banana bread was divine and so emotional but my song lyrics about how my cat's breath smells like cat food will change the world." :o

Where will you run when the First Universal Church Of Feline Respiration hunts down all the blasphemers and non-believers though Kev?

Thats like saying, "Gah Marvel whyd you hire the directors of You Me and Dupree and then have them make an espionage spy thriller? Stupid, studio."

It sounds like Lord and Miller were deviating from the script and what the film was supposed to be and then refused to compromise when Disney, the people paying for the whole thing, asked them to make the film they were hired to make. If true that means the blame lies with Lord and Miller and not Disney.

And I dont think it reflects well on Lord and Miller if they are only capable of doing goofball comedy and refuse to step outside their little comedy box. Surely they are capable of making something other than comedies. If they cant and didnt want to make the film they were hired to make they shouldnt have taken the job. That would have been the sensible thing to do rather than taking the job and then trying to forget the script, hijack the film, and turn it into something Disney didnt agree to.
