I love Colter as Luke, but my original pick for the role was the guy who plays Mac on AoS. Either way I'm good.

It's crazy to me that Cage didn't appear in a cartoon until Superhero Squad just a few year ago. I remember hoping he and Fist would show up on Spidey & his Amazing Friends back in the day, heh. Freaking Shanna the She-Devil was on there...

Power Man should have been animated decades ago. For whatever reasons, in the 80s, Marvel's TV development arm seemed content to just let Amazing Friends play out in reruns, (only 24 episodes produced) and nothing else that was directly Marvel based until the one-shot X-Men pilot of 1988. Imagine if Heroes for Hire were produced with the pilot's animation.

Aside from that, I guess you could nominally point to the GI Joe and Transformers show productions, also Dungeons & Dragons, but those were all licensed properties.

I felt that characters like Luke Cage an Iron Fist were much in the background of the Marvel Universe, they weren't the stars so were low priority for shows. It's only in recent years their profiles have raised so much, specially for Luke which I feel started with the Alias comic. Since he's a favorite with Bendis, as he wrote more and more major stories for Marvel, Luke has risen higher and higher in the ranks. So no surprise he's appearing in tv, video games, etc just as much
