About ****ing time. I forgot about this movie's existence until today.

Everything looks cool as hell. I just hope this doesn't flop.

This came out of nowhere. :funny:

Charlize looks badass! :hrt:

According to the article George Miller will be on hand at SDCC to debut footage and a teaser trailer will drop in the near future.

Looks cool, made me want to rewatch the Trilogy and finaly finish Beyond Thunderdome.

By the way, that metal arm reminded me of Fullmetal Alchemist right away.

could i be more hyped for this movie ? no.

So, does that mean you're hyped?

for Theron and Hardy its around 3 years since they have been cast.for Miller its around 10 years right?

after all those years if this movie is chopped in the editing room then WB can close down.

I neeeeeeeed... :csad:

Already happened. Hardy wanted the original cut which ran at 160 minutes but the money hats pushed and decided on 140 minutes and then the test screening was around 120-130 minutes. Obviously since then it looks like its been trimmed to come in at the 110 minutes.

I wonder when the trailer will drop? "Near future" could be anytime from tomorrow, next week or next month. If it was to be with another WB feature then Into the Storm in August could be a good bet but then I was also wonder if Rise of the Planet of the Apes would be an idea too? Either way with a Comic Con showing confirmed it means we'll be seeing and hearing from from FURY ROAD within a few weeks. :yay:

Sometimes, less is more. Road Warrior wasn't a long movie right? It's one of those bare to the bones, minimalistic movies that somehow works.

Road Warrior is very minimal for a action movie. I don't think most of the characters in it are even named and Max himself is kind of a blank state.

i find it hard to belive that Miller wanted this kind of story to be over 120 minutes. IMO

160 minutes for something like Mad Max sounds a bit much, IMO.

And Miller says he intends it as this non-stop chase. That's easier to maintain with a shorter runtime.

I'd delete "somehow" from above. Straight and to the point, aren't necessarily bad things for movies. Gravity being another example.

There's much too much nitpicking about run times. There are masterpieces less than 90 minutes. Heck, a lot of great action films have lean running times.

In this, Theron reminds me of the bazooka girl from the third Matrix movie.

Jesus, that's the same guy that played Stryker in DOFP?!

Mad Max 2 is one of the best movies. ever. can't wait for this

Took me a second to realize that's Max they've got chained up.

The mask brings fleeting thoughts of Bane.
