true.

he is in the car wearing Mad Max jacket. behind him on the car Max is chained on the car. it looks after the storm the car gets flipped and joins the girls.

it takes some hollywood balls to have your main character in the first act chained on a car. and no lines from him.

Really looking forward to Charlize Theron's performance in this. I just love that after 30 years George Miller has made this still feel like Mad Max, even with updated technology.
I watched Beyond Thunderdome for the first time today,I've always loved the first 2 but have always put off Thunderdome from hearing bad things. I have to say I liked it. Not as good as the first 2 but still a fitting ending for the Max character. And the fight in the Thunderdome is one of the best I've seen. Would be awesome if a theater showed all 4 opening day.

From the shots in the trailer, it looks like Hoult ends up joining the women.

Hoult's character Nux is supposed to be somewhat sympathetic.

spoilers
Max (Tom Hardy) is taken prisoner by the sickly (and evil) Immortan Joe so that he can be harvested and used as a “blood bag” for his sickly band of mutants that do his bidding. Immortan Joe is a tyrannical beast, lording over hundreds of subjects and granting them only a small portion of his considerable water supply. One of the sickly mutants, Nux (Nicholas Hoult), is preparing for a mission led by the fearsome imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron) to siphon gas from a local town. However, it quickly becomes apparent that Furiosa is using the mission as a cover to smuggle Immortan Joe’s beautiful set of breeders (among them Zoe Kravitz and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley) and take them elsewhere. Eventually, the film turns into a race as Mad, Furiosa, and their crew attempt to outrun the many tribes after them as they try to liberate everyone from the iron fist of the Immortan.

Is this her? She cut her hair.

Yep that's zoe and Rosie

The lighting in that ending shot is different between the two trailers we've gotten so far.

I like her robotic hand. Some steampunk in there.

Someone did a great Mad Max: Road Warrior & Mad Max: Fury Road side by side trailer

I thought it was a very well done trailer.

Agreed, caught me off guard how original and different it looked. Just straight up insane and on edge stuff. Was a great surprise compared to the other generic trailers knocking about (cough T.G cough)

Seeing the trailer on the big screen is quite the experience, and I rarely say that.

Absolutely. The trailer is already crazy as it is but seeing in on the big screen just amps it up even more.

Yeah, that trailer got me pumped for this. I wasn't expecting the classical music, when it hit I knew something special was happening haha

What movie had this trailer before it?

Not sure with what else but I saw it with Exodus.

Tom Hardy if anyone could play Mad Max other than Mel Gibson it is definitely him

The Hobbit has it as the last one before the flick starts on most prints. I saw it twice over the weekend at two different theatres.

Got a Mad Max trailer with my The Hobbit showing. But no Star Wars & I was kind of sad about that

But Tom Hardy I can actually see him as Mad Max more than I can Mel Gibson at this point because even though Mel Gibson pretty much made the character of Mad Max iconic, Tom Hardy has now put his own spin on it and hell he even looks like Mel Gibson too but can Tom Hardy pull off the Aussie accent?

Well, let's not go crazy. I like Hardy but I have yet to see him as anybody but Tom Hardy in a lot of roles sans maybe one or two. He's becoming more recognizable.

Yes sure but even you have to admit that after the trailer you can actually see him as Mad Max?

From what little we've heard from him in the trailers he seems to have a good handle on the accent.

His Aussie accent sounded ok in the trailer and like Gibson's Max he will only a have a few lines in the movie.
