According to some posters in the Capt. Marvel thread she's too old to play Carol Danvers. I hope this comes out, blows us all away and suddenly she vaults to the top of the list for them... Then gets cast in a DC film by WB.

I would pay Charlize to be Captain Marvel myself. How the woman hasn't nabbed a big franchise to call her own is beyond me. I know Aeon Flux is a mess and a half but it was 10 years ago and the woman needs a second shot.

This movie has the potential to be as good as Thunderdome but it also has that Road Warrior feel to it as well, but here is just hoping that Mad Max Fury Road does well at the box office certainly enough that there can be more sequels but what would have been even better is if they somehow could have gotten Mel Gibson to do a cameo at least
