All the Harkins Theatres that are available in Phoenix have at least 4 showings still available. Harkins Supersition Springs 25 has 9 showings today.

All the Harkins Theatres in Arizona still have a lot of screenings for MOS.

My theater already has it down to 4 showings per day, how about others? Have they drastically decreased the showings at your theater?

My local theater stopped all MOS showings on Wed. And the film is still making money, which goes to show how good it really is.

Just read that this was a record june. And maybe the biggest month outside of july?
Not sure what that means..

Two things to me, anyone that wants to debate how bad june is for a particular release will be reminded of this month

And WB picked one hell of a time to drop this. I can almost wonder if the rest of the summer will have a single film open over 60mill if not less. Would have been great for Superman.

so what happens when you love a movie and its not the biggest movie of the year? what do you do if the movie makes a s.... load of money but didnt do enough to compare it to other big movies?

you need to find a sentence ,you need to make up a sentence that you are going to use in the next years.

Man of Steel is the biggest superhero reboot of all time. the biggest superhero reboot. not the biggest reboot but it needs to be the ....biggest.....superhero..........reboot......

MOS is doing great despite opening in June. Here's hoping July is in MOS 2's sight.

what's the current biggest reboot title holder?

No doubt, just seems in hindsight that the circumstances weren't all in the films favor. I worry about 2015, that's a stacked summer.

MOS is the highest grossing reboot isn't it? It was once TASM.

Wow, over $47 million in China alone. Wait until it hits Japan in August.

And that number hasn't even been updated in a week. By now it probably has $60-65 million there.

did i writte that its not true. that its a lie? i said that you need to find a sentence that you are going to use in arguments in the next 10 years. and for MOS its '' biggest superhero reboot''. :woot:

Well, if you correct for inflation, you would still have films like "Superman: The Movie" that would still be ahead right now (that would count as a reboot since the first Superman films go back to the 1940's).

Sry I was just confused by what you said. A week away from this place and I forget rankings and all of that.
Was an honest question?

I thought you were going to say a bond movie or something, but I'm guessing the title actually goes to ASM.

Yea I knew Superman's international numbers would be something to behold. Really says something about Returns. I suppose the market has changed though.

Well until we stop celebrating James Cameron's numbers, I think it's fair to ignore inflation ratios across the board.

Top 3
1.MOS-263 mil
2.TASM-262 mil
3.Star Trek-257 mil

Oh cool, I didn't know that.
However I'm far more interested in World Wide totals than anything.

Who would have thought star trek would dip domestically(and somewhat rise internationally) with it's sequel. That film had more momentum than I've recently seen coming off of a release.

Most people assume it's due to the 4 year wait.

Was just checking movie times for PR next Thursday and noticed that MOS is still showing IMAX 3D here in Durham, NC. Must have been doing really well here.
