This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]460801[/split]
The critics alone can vouch for that. To say MOS was a better origin film than Batman Begins though... C'mon, for real?
Have you seen or read some of those Critic's review... Sure MOS has some flaw but every movie does. Some of those complains I can understand but if they look past that, the movie was very good as is. We finally see a Superman that is very human and relatable. Some critics simply didn't like the movie because of the changes, it didn't have the lois and Superman romance or bright and happy like the old Donnars... Those are just folks that nip-pick on a movie that isn't what they wanted to see in a Superman movie. I'll just leave it at that and say base on the BO... the GA has spoken and we can finally move one away from the past with the new Superman. Like it or not it's going to fly higher than ever for Superman.

What's wrong with that though? Critics can vouch for a film and they can say that it's the greatest film ever made. But you can still find people who will absolutely hate it.
Take for example my friend Lora. She is a massive batman fan, has read all the comics and graphic novels and watched all the films. Now she didn't like Rises very much at all, she found it bloated and overly long. However critics vouched that it was a great final film in the series, they have it a 86% on Rotten. Now while that's her opinion and I don't agree with her, I respect it. Just like I respect people's opinions when they say that MOS was a better origin film than BB. I don't criticize their opinion.
And FYI, I was more entertained and excited watching MOS than I was watching begins BUT I think overall Begins is a more well constructed origin film and overall it is better.
His downfall begun when greeneyes compiled all his previous posts in which he said how much he hated superman and was hoping to see MoS fail hard at the box office so that WB could bury the character once and for all and move onto other heroes.
It's not like the MoS BO numbers are gonna change the world, but he obviously had an agenda to spin everything into a negative light. And apparently he's a famous Superman hater on other boards. So, whatever.
This. I had more fun with MOS, but I think I prefer Begins more. Not to say I don't love MOS. Because I really, really, really do.

Right.. and inspite of the many flaws in MOS, I personally liked it way better than BB. It's definitely way, way more enjoyable. It's worth watching numerous times (i still liked BB though)... I am prob the minority here seeing as everyone seems to put the TDK Trilogy on a Godly Pedestal....

Bane's death really did it for me. Almost threw my popcorn at the screen. How anti-climactic.
I like them both but BB to me feels more like an adventure than MOS does.
It's funny. The general public and critics put TDK trilogy on a pedestal, but if you go into the fan boards you'll actually find alot more conflict with batman fans. Some don't put it on such a godly pedestal.
But....but...Sci-Fi adventure tho?
Realism ftw! Screw Sci-Fi and Fantasy!
Begins has a lot more build up to heroism than MOS does. I remember once he got his costume I was like, "Oh, he's Superman already?"
I don't know if you notice but he was superman since he was a teen saving lives to before he put on the suit. The suit does not make him Superman but he is Superman... Which I like how they presented the imagery of that.
