I wanna see it on the big screen again the Internet is full of stories saying an late November release and some are saying early December but both are too long of a wait to see this movie again

If not mistaken the DVD will be out by Nov.
If MOS isnt re release by Sept. It's done.

I'm hoping its made about $250-325, 000 for the weekend which will put it over $290 million domestic so unless they re-release it to IMAX it'll probably finish its run around $291 million. It Opens in Japan in a little over 4 days so hopefully it'll do better than is expected. They said MOS 2 opens worldwide on July 17th 2015 so Japan may not have to wait 10 weeks longer than everyone one else next time which should help its B.O. There.

Next Fri it's coming back to one of my local theaters....its only a 3d showing at 130 and 930......I get to see it one more time!

That's a good sign as that is Labor Day weekend here in the U.S. so perhaps that means we might get some IMAX screenings as well.

Going by MU & WWZ's weekend B.O. I think MOS probably took in north of $300,000.

I thought you were in the U.S. but I wasn't 100% sure. I hope they put it in regular theaters in the L.A. Area as well. I saw it for three bucks in a dollar theater and it left me jonesing to see it again in high quality.

I'll try I think I've went with everyone from family to girlfriend but they all liked it accept for my girlfriend....she thought it was a good movie but it didn't make her connect with superman.....though she did read the reviews and she's not a superman fan, so I already knew she had her mind sort of convinced lol....I still have a friend that still hasn't seen it who wanted to see it so ill try get him to go

That's what I was thinking I know ita hard to believe but I really think a re-release will push MOS box office higher than most think
the moment it hit imax and gain 2500 screens it will jump pass the 300 mark and have some decent legs for a month

Not likely. It might make it to over $291 million in a couple more weeks, but even if it got a one week IMAX re-release that would perhaps pull in a few million at best. If they did a two week re- release and advertised it, maybe it could hit $300 million but the advertising might eat up any additional gains at the B.O. I should add that even if they broke even $1 advertising to $1 gained at the B.O. If MOS made it to $300 million it might be deemed worth it from WB standpoint simply for the bragging rights of being able to say it crossed that particular threshold.

re-release is a question. 2500 screens???!!! some of the the new movies release won't even get that number!

Thats only because a lot of these new movies wont be major releases so even if mos dont do 2500 11-1500 seems very doable

At Superman homepage they posted some awesome info. Looks like a pretty substantial re release is happening starting this Friday through the following Thursday. It doesn't look like its going "wide" but from the following link it should provide a pretty good bump:

On the cool side, it is being brought back by popular demand which is awesome! This could provide a pretty substantial bump to the final box office.
