Oh what it could've done. It's still doing really well even with its June release date. :)

Seeing those numbers for Skyfall and Hobbit are really encouraging! It seems MOS should hit 300 domestic which is awesome! 750 WW may even be possible. I can't wait for comic con now...hopefully they announce the sequel!

Btw, never expect LR would bomb big. I thought it was WWZ. N WWZ is doing great.

Of the movies that have yet to be released in July, which one is tracking the best ?

The Wolverine:
Opening Weekend: $65,000,000 [proj.]

Total Domestic Gross:
$160,000,000 [pred.]

Grown Ups 2:
Opening Weekend: $42,000,000 [proj.]
Total Domestic Gross:
$138,000,000 [pred.]

I was talking quality wise.

I know that, I was just posting those numbers because those movies are currently have the biggest tracking numbers for this month. I personally want PR to do better than both.

wolverine is gonna surprise some people mangold hasn't really disappointed me

Its hard to believe Grown Ups (2010) made so much money. It was such a boring story and such a weak set of jokes. That's the general public for ya.

Lone Ranger looked like a Dark Shadows waiting to happen and loads of people were saying it at the time.

Yeah, I usually don't like to pick on the general public but when movies like that make a ton of money (and their sure-to-be-just-as-awful sequels look like they will too), it depresses me. I guess a lot of people out there really do like crap.

At least the Lone Ranger is an awesome movie.

They like that it applies to them. They see surreal versions of themselves in the characters. Nothing wrong with that.

Although I haven't seen Grown Ups, did anyone ask for GU2?

The box office for the first and the tracking for the second seems to indicate yes.

I know more then a few middle aged parents. They get a kick out of it being "just like their lives". They love to see themselves as funny and zany.

Yeesh, take it easy. He probably lives in America. I've seen and heard more Americans call it 'Murica than anyone else.

Yeah it's kind of an "homage" to the way certain Americans, from a particular region and socio-economic niche, pronounce the word "America".

Ive never seen a non-American use this meme/term personally.

Lol, yeah, NextNolan is from America. I'm American and I call it 'Murica too.

'Murica!
