I agree, she seems more suitable to be one of the X-Men or other mutants. Are they casting for that yet?she would be better as a young x men

I wouldn't invest too much into these rumors (she been rumored for a lot of different marvel roles over the last couple years) but with that saidI’m having trouble seeing her as Sue. Which isn’t to say she can’t do it, I’d just like to see her doing something similar, and I can’t say that I’ve seen her play a similar character.

When he was a child, Reed Richards always dreamed of scientific exploration and adventure—it’s how he coped with the pain of his father’s sudden abandonment.
![]()
Dr. Harvey Elder, Reed’s childhood hero, was a famous scientist explorer who was mocked by his peers for his Hollow Earth theories. One day, he sought to prove them all wrong and mounted an expedition to his supposed lost world at the center of the Earth. He was never seen again…
![]()
Years later, Reed and his super-powered family are studying the stillborn Celestial Tiamut which still rests in the Indian Ocean after the events of Eternals. The stone giant is emitting low levels of cosmic radiation—the same energy signature as the rays that imbued the four of them with their fantastic powers several months prior.
![]()
After the accident, the four moved into the Baxter Building—a state-of-the-art think tank located in the former home to the Avengers and run by Dr. Willie Lumpkin, a surrogate father figure for Reed (Stan Lee’s likeness makes a cameo as Leeland Baxter, founder of the Baxter Foundation).
![]()
The Fantastic Four soon discover a pathway within the Celestial’s body and journey inside their Fantasticar to a paradise dimension filled with monstrous creatures ruled by a grizzly, and yet somehow still alive, Harvey Elder—it turns out he found the Hollow Earth he was searching for all those years ago. It just happened to be inside of an infant Celestial deep within the Earth’s core.
![]()
Ivan Kragoff with his Super Apes seeks the lost world within the Celestial too to claim any discovered treasures for profit—putting him in direct conflict with his rival Reed throughout the film.
![]()
To save the world from an invasion of monsters from Subterranea led by a vengeful and embittered Mole Man, the Fantastic Four must work together as a family and embrace their newfound fame as the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s First Family

Tom Hanks as the Mole Man is interesting. Not sure I like it, but it's interesting.
You didn't mention the Red Ghost in the synopsis.
Okay, I see him now. Either I missed him before or you edited him back in. I would actually like to see the Red Ghost and his Super Apes, it would be a hoot. That’s Ivan Kragoff (aka Red Ghost). In my vision, he’s a competing adventurer—almost like Belloq from Raiders of the Lost Ark, if you will.

I like Hanks for the Mole Man character in my pitch—he’s not someone you’d normally see as a “villain.” And, in Mole Man’s mind, he’s not the villain. He’s a scientific explorer, no unlike Reed Richards, who sought to discover Subterranea and grew bitter with resentment at those who doubted him & cast him out.
His almost tragic character development in the film would be counter-balanced by the more over-the-top secondary villain Ivan Kragoff with three super-powered primates paling around. If not Billy Magnussen, Sacha Baron Cohen would another fun pick for the Red Ghost.
that’s too many villains- you’re encroaching on Spider man 3 territory.
I'm still not sold on blunt as Sue. And I'm not entirely sold on Krasinski as Reed, but I do think it'd likely he has the role.
Melissa Benoist is an original choice for Sue, haven't seen that suggested before. You could definitely do worse. So if they go younger for the fantastic four, here's my first draft cast.
