What the developers want and what the publisher wants are 2 different things. I bet the guys that worked on it would have rather waited but Capcom needed this game out. You also have to keep in mind that these characters arent their property, so they have to pay licensing fees to have them in this. Thats why getting this out as soon as possible to make as much money as possible is a priority bc the also have a DLC schedule they need to stick with bc the license will eventually expire as it did with MvC2 and Capcom was screwed with that. They got the main stuff out so thats what matters. The rest can be patched in as they go along. Hopefully they dont start charging us for extra modes.

They are already charging us for stuff on the disc. I wouldn't be surprised if they charged us for anything that gets additionally added.

But that stuff on the disc is incomplete. So u aren't paying for nothing. Capcom has to go back and do the work to have the characters playable.

Actually, Shuma is complete, but that's not what I'm talking about. The guys who went through the entire disc, said the first batch of DLC costumes is actually on the disc. So you're paying for something that's actually already in your possession.

to my knowledge, they didnt charge for the extra online modes added to SFIV. That stuff was free and in part as to not divide and cripple the online community. Im hoping they do that here as well

Basically she kills Galactus, his body is tumbled over onto the X-Mansion lawn. She taunts Wolverine about how he's never done anything like that. He gives her the title of best there is, and then says ''Now clean this off the lawn."

That's literally it.

I just looked it up on youtube, it kind of looks like everybodys endings are kind of dumb. But your right, that was really dumb. Kind of surprised they didnt have like animated endings or something, they look kind of cheap.

i don't really care about story for a franchise VS game... i mean really? MVC2 tried slightly.. but it was all pretty much what you had to piece together yourself (the two worlds collide due to some being, and you travel to the worlds fighting the other sides characters...)

I don't need a story... because honestly? no story would make sense. Especially with capcom where all there games exist in there own unique universe (unlike marvel)

I liked Dante's ending. But that's because he talks to my favorite Marvel demon.
I really hope he'll be on the next game.

I am surprised with how well Hagger plays. I was expecting him to be more of a Zangief clone but he's differernt and alot more fun and versatile

With the DLC, I hope they also add new stages. As much as I dont like it, Id love it if they had a Utopia one with random X-characters in the background

Yea i love all of Deadpools quips. My fav is his "This is a hyper combo" line.

I want a Latveria stage.

That would be awesome. Either in, or with dooms castle in the background would be neat.

So I rented this game.
And boy am I glad I did.

In the under 5 hours that I played it I completed the game with 8 different characters (on hard and ultra hard). Finished all the mission for x23, taskmaster and Hulk and took those three online.

And for 29 times in a row trying to join ranked I got "failed to join session". When I went into the lobbies, of the 15 or so games I tried to get connected too and play, only about 10 of them worked. And of those 10, only 1 was playable in terms of lag.

No story mode. No unlocks other than arbitrary titles and icons. No replay value what-so-ever and a broken to **** online mode. So ****ing glad I didn't buy this piece of ****. They lost my money with the whole "shipping with DLC that's actually already on the disc" ********, and I'm glad.

I still stand by my Marvel Stages that i want badly....

-Latveria (with the fantastic 4 in the background.. either captured, or battling doombots/dragon man/moleman... whomever)

-Utopia/San Fransisco with loads of X-men in the background

-AIM base... with aim soldiers in the background

-Desert destruction stage (hulk?)

I like it, a lot. I doubt I play it EVERYDAY... but it will be fun to put in and play when I want a quick game or two.
