I like it, a lot. I doubt I play it EVERYDAY... but it will be fun to put in and play when I want a quick game or two.

I find that to be the case with most fighting games. I mean I LOVE Super Street Fighter IV, but of all the titles i own, iv prob spent less time with it than any of the others. I tend to get the most enjoyment from fighting games when i play against other friends. It was like SuperFerret said a while back, losing to random ppl online gets irritating, but losing to your friends doesnt seem to be such a big deal.

That's good for you. I expect there are hundreds of thousands out there just like you. I, however, feel that this game is no where near worth 60$. 30$? Sure. But no way in hell 60. The whole day 1 DLC and DLC that's already on the disc leave a very very salty taste in my mouth, and I really really don't like being played by companies like that. But hey, to each their own.

IGN explained the ranked online problem, thats getting fixed in a patch. If the coming downloads (gametypes) are indeed free, then I think it's more than worth the money.

You can block his Snap Backs. I love doing the Player Matches. Went 11-5 on in that mode today. When they fix Ranked to match me with those of my level and not lords I'll go back to that.

You're Dante is just a beast...I cannot seem to do all the Dante combos quite as well as you.

If you can't tell, I'm working to get better at Taskmaster, as him and X-23 are probably my favorite characters in the game.

I like this game and don't regret my purchase. That said, I feel it's incomplete, like Street Fighter 4. I don't care about what is or isn't on the disc. But there are standard features missing that should've been included. And if DLC could fix that, there's still issues with how it plays. I play to learn and have fun, not just to win, but there's a problem when a character with no execution barrier and high damage setups mops the floor with everyone else. "We'll find something" is bad consolation when I do sixty hits to KO it vs. its one combo on me.

Not one to whine. I'm hitting Training and Mission Mode hard to get decent at this, 'cause I'd like to play this for a long time. But the lack of simple things and abundance of low skill rewards is off-putting.

Pushblock and/or teleports. Wesker, in particular, has a counter special against beam/fireball spam (Dragon Punch motion + H). You could also try flight, air dashes, and super or double jumps. You could also try to out-zone him/her with faster beams like EM Disruptor, match beams/fireballs and cancel into a Super, or block them with MODOK's Barrier. There's no one answer.

Yea dude it was a lot of fun and yea your X-23 and Taskmaster are pretty strong, you aced me a few times with those people. You defense is pretty tough man, i couldn't seem to land any major combos against you, i think i resorted to some cheap spam moves out of frustration, haha. I also think i had more time over matches against you than anyone else iv ever faced, its that D man, cant get through it.

I've pretty much mastered MODOK at this point. His gameplay is different, but not difficult to control. It's all about timing the analyze cubes correctly and knowing when to shoot.

I don't think so. MODOK requires flight, iron man and the like don't. The way it is now is much more practical.

I only tried him once and didn't like it. I'm not really good with the "floaty" characters like MODOK, Arthur, and Joe. I even find Deadpool a little too light-footed.

Storm is a little bit more manageable.
