added complexity does turn some people away, but it'll also make the replay value last infinitely longer...who is left anyway when the casual players fizzle out, only the hardcore players that want the extra complexity so the game stays fresh. Either way it is what it is, no changing that, I just know ill be playing ssf4 and mk9 long after im bored of this game, not enough depth to keep the hardcore fighting game fan happy

And any group that takes anything too seriously is one to be looked down upon. Games especially, since they're not meant to be serious business.

Oh I hope so, Iron Fist was my most wanted Marvel after Deadpool got confirmed. Sadly, I did not get my wish...for now.

I like them more, because it doesn't fit Jill or Chris (or Frank really either, but I don't care as much about him as I do them) . Wesker, I could deal if he sent in monsters. But heroes of games shouldn't call out what they fight against.

Well with Frank, he summons them but it seems as if he's not controlling them. He yells "LOOK OUT!" & they might even attack him sometimes, it makes more sense than Jill's summoning in MvC2.

Tron's great in this game. I've noticed I've become something of a combo king with her. She-Hulk, Tron, and X-23 last night and it was crazy combos time.

If Jean were fighting Maddie or Emma, she woudlnt take it easy on them, especially Emma.

to anyone who has played a fighting game, I think in the long run they'd think mvc3 is infact dumbed down. Its hard for you to relate since you havent played ssf, just put it this way, i've had this game for a week and i've mastered everything you can do in this game, i've had sf4 and ssf4 since release and i still feel like im an absolute rookie at that game. i understand them trying to make mvc3 appeal to the casual gamer, i just think in the long run that'll be a mistake because only fighting games with depth are the ones that still get played years down the road

The game has depth. Will it be another Marvel 2? Probably not, but that reminds me of the Flash's origin- what are the chances lightning will strike the same batch of chemicals twice (and give a criminologist superpowers)? Marvel 2 is the definition of "happy accident." I'll shut it about MK9 'til it's out, but it doesn't look as good as this.

Don't agree with the "who cares, it's another game of many" attitude. Last generation, I bought a bunch of video games. This gen has been about what filler companies can put out before the next exclusive. I'd much rather have fun playing video games I like over the years than buying another $60 shelfwarmer every few months.

Most times when a company pays for the rights to something Marvel, they can keep those rights for some years. If that's the case here, Capcom better come out with another Marvel game.

really? fly, unlfy, refly? instant overheads with fly or Square or tridashing?, tridash crossups and fake cross ups? resets? good team synergy like good assists to help rush down, zone, or extend combos? meter management? unblockables? 100% combos with/without assists? akuma infinite? magneto rom loop? You are an expert at screen control already? beaten the entire mission mode?

its easier to do "cool" looking combos in this game, thats for sure, same with MvC2. But that does not make this game noob friendly...MvC2 sure as hell wasn't. Maybe you haven't been blown up by someone who actually knows how to play this game

I'm actually shocked that Frank West is in fourth place but I see that Megaman X is at the top I hope capcom listens to the fans on this one.
I can see Venom and Gambit in the roster and even Batsu and Kyosuke.I hope they also consider Spider Woman
