Marvel vs. Capcom 3 - Part 2

Granted that I didnt care for him in the previous games, Megaman's ommission is very glaring. Eveytyime I go through the roster, it doesnt feel complete without him and I didnt think it would matter much to him. Would have been great to use a full team of MM characters. Here's to hoping he in the X variety will make it to DLC

I wouldn't be suprised to see a Mega Man and Vergil as DLC to have complete Mega Man and DMC teams.Many may not agree but I think Nero would provide more variety than virgil and would be more fun to play.

Is Vergill really needed? Granted I havent played a DMC since 2, but wouldnt he play very similarly to Dante? I think an alternate skin is enough to suffice. I really dont think DMC doesnt need any more since we already got Dante and Trish

Agreed. Someone mentioned Nero and that's just redundant due to Dantes inclusion in the game. Just give him an alt skin

i have to agree. i love her but she doesnt last more than 15 seconds any time i use her.

You guys just dont know how to utilize her effectively. She's a mainstay on my team and I do fairly well with her. With her, I beat the PS3 top player in the world. Guy had nearly 900 wins, a 28 game win streak, 96% win ratio and I took him down using Jean. She is one of the better characters in the game

Agreed. Someone mentioned Nero and that's just redundant due to Dantes inclusion in the game. Just give him an alt skin

He plays a lot differently from Dante.
It's been a long time since I played DMC4, but when I had to drop Nero to play with Dante, the difference in gameplay was instantly apparent.

Nero has some nice powers with his devil arm that could be fully explored in the game, which is exclusive to him. I still like Vergil better, though.

Really? Her movements are fine for me. She's a speedy character with a lower of power behind her. She's also a combo machine if you want her to be.

Probably already been asked, since I'm a little late to the party, but how do you dodge Galactus's multiple laser attack (the one where goes out of range and shots the lasers from his hands and eyes). It instant killed two of my team, and I really wouldn't expect an instant kill attack to be unblockable.

Also, Tron Bonne's ending = best video game ending ever.

Yeah, it's really a world of difference. Even the swordplay was almost completely different

I think you probably need to build a team around her, to create the best possible scenario for her to become Dark Phoenix, instead of just inserting her to any team you pick. From what I've seen, she could be the most deadly character in MvC3 if she is used right.

HAHA I have yet to figure it out. Essentially that's when Galactus decides you can't play anymore. The last time he pulled that on me I got hit 536 times. Even blocking kills me. Best bet is to KO him before he does it

only thing i can recommend is dont use assists during the galactus fight, if any of your team is caught in the crossfire they are toast

Someone like Hulk might stand a chance while blocking, but I did a 3 person Hyper Combo during one and he killed everyone at the same time

I think you probably need to build a team around her, to create the best possible scenario for her to become Dark Phoenix, instead of just inserting her to any team you pick. From what I've seen, she could be the most deadly character in MvC3 if she is used right.

Thats how I use her. She's not meant to be your point person. One also cant rely on her DP transformation bc you have to be pretty good with the other 2 characters to really stand a chance of surviving long enough to build her super meter. Jean probably has the best air mobility out of anyone in the game. Her air specials, plus the teleport and down H make for a pretty effective fighter even without DP. She also has that TK trap that helps keep opponents from rushing in and comboing her to death. The TK shot follows the enemy so it gets them even if they try to jump over it. I think she's fun

Dante and Vergil's fighting styles are very different. For one thing Vergil doesn't use guns.

Nero on the other hand does and his Devil Bringer would probably end up too much like Spencer's Bionic Arm.

I just blocked? It still does a crapload of damage, but I've survived it more times than I've been killed by it.

You pressed left or right to block? I tried both, and my characters still died. I could've been blocking it, I guess, since you can't really see your character, but both had about 3/4 health.

Eh, not really. Devil Bringer really doesn't have that kind of range; it's more of a close range weapon than the Bionic Arm.
